Our vibes are laid back, but our food and
service are top notch! That’s why we cater to
events of all shapes and sizes. No matter the

The Restaurant
 Located on the fantastic Ross Barnett Reservoir.
    Enjoy our signature island-style atmosphere
overlooking central Mississippi’s “Big Water.” The
  food is great, the drinks are cold and the views
        are spectacular. Sit back and stay awhile.

PRIVATE DINING UPSTAIRS

    Shaggy’s on the Rez has a private dining
room overlooking the beautiful Ross Barnett
 Reservoir! The space has a private balcony,
              full servie bar, and restrooms.

TAKE OVER TIKI

You know it and you love it. The open-air Tiki Bar is perfect for all types
of parties! The space has a full service bar, an area for live music, and
private restrooms.

Choosing a menu for an event can be daunting for some,
but not us! We are a restaurant, after all.
Want family-style offerings? Ok! Want a custom and
personalized menu! You got it! There’s no limit to your
dining experience when you’re at Shaggy’s.

Frequently Asked Questions
IS THERE A FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUM?
Yes, minimums are based on your event’s date, time, and space. The
minimum does not include applicable service charges or sales tax. If
minimums are not met, the variance will be charged as a Private Dining Room
Fee. Minimums are set based on a 2 ½ hour block. Events longer than 2 ½
hours are subject to additional room rental fees and vary based on date and
time.
IS THERE A VENUE FEE AND WHAT DOES THAT INCLUDE?
Our Private Event Fee is determined by type of event and day of the week.
This fee covers a 2.5 or 3 hour reservation, tables, chairs, complete table top
rentals, as well as, set up and break down of your event. Shaggy’s on the Rez
is not responsible for setup of any decor items brought in.
DO YOU ALLOW DECORATIONS?
Yes! We welcome decorations, such as flowers, favors etc. We do not allow
anything to be applied to the walls or building that will cause damage. No
glitter or confetti. Guests are welcome to set up decorations one hour prior to
the event.
MAY WE BRING IN AN OUTSIDE CATERER?
With the exception of a cake, we do not allow outside food. Shaggy’s on the
Rez must provide all of your food & beverage items. We would be happy to
cut and serve your cake.
MAY WE BRING IN AN OUTSIDE MUSIC?
Shaggy’s on the Rez has speakers that plays our house music. Guests are
welcome to bring outside speakers provided the music is radio cut and
follows volume regulations. We do not provide audio visual equipment.
