The indoor plants of the month for 2020 have been announced The indoor plants of the month are in keeping with the trends of 2020 In 2020, Pflanzenfreude.de is also focusing on an indoor plant or a group of indoor plants every month. The plant photos have put 2020’s style trends in the spotlight. With the pictures and texts aimed at consumers, the Blumenbüro Holland is targeting a business segment with a lot of potential, i.e. the growth platform “Interior”. By doing this, it wants to encourage consumers to use plants to make their house or their apartment feel even more like a home. As well as this, it impresses the media with interesting facts and attractive images which reflect what the consumers of today are looking for. How are the products chosen? The list of plants was drawn up in cooperation with the product specialists at Royal FloraHolland. A series of criteria was taken into account when choosing the plants. For example, a product may only be advertised once within the space of three years in order to showcase as many product groups as possible. In order to ensure a decent level of availability, at least four gardening companies need to grow the plants or the plant groups, and the products should be available in the appropriate quantity for a period of seven months (with the exception of one or two seasonal products). Additionally, it is examined whether the plants are interesting to the consumers and consumer media and whether they are in keeping with contemporary trends.
