Participation for all programs is on a first-paid, ONLINE first-served basis. Rassie Wicker Park Restoration Restoration is underway at Rassie Wicker Park which served as the temporary campus of Pinehurst Elementary School for the past two years. Retention ponds are being removed, landscaping replaced and the soccer field is being re-established. The Parks and Recreation Department is also adding LED athletic field lighting to the soccer field to allow for enhanced access for play in the evening for soccer, lacrosse and other activities. Sod should be installed this spring on the field in anticipation of it being available for play this summer. West Pinehurst Community Park Comprehensive Parks & Recreation Master Plan Adopted Master Plan Update The Village Council adopted a Site Master Plan for the The Parks and Recreation Department is in the process 74-acre West Pinehurst Community Park. Camps are Monday–Thursday, with Friday reserved as a rain make-up. Each day, campers will enjoy the pool for the last 30 minutes. SUMMER CAMP PREVIEW Full-Day CampS Planned activities include games, crafts, sports, swimming, and more for kids ages 5 – 12. Camp will utilize the Community Center, Cannon Park, Camelot Playground, and the Splash Pad and will go on a weekly trip. Fees for weekly trips are included in the session fees provided below. KAMP KIDWORKS PINEHURST FIRE DEPARTMENT JR. This half-day camp is co-sponsored with FirstHealth FIRE ACADEMY Center for Health and Fitness. Camp provides adventure, The Pinehurst Fire Department, together with the wonder and fun in a safe, supervised program for kids Pinehurst Parks & Recreation Department, will host ages 4 – 12.
