Tennis is a part of the Junior Orange Bowl Festival
Who We Are:
Founded in 1948, the Junior Orange Bowl is a Florida based 501 (c) 3 non-profit. Our
platform offers the South Florida community and the youth of the world an opportunity
for competitive athletic, artistic and multicultural experiences. Known as the largest
international youth festival, our events give young people an opportunity to showcase
their specific talents and strengths.
The Parade:
A 73 Year tradition, each December the night-time parade "Miracle on the Mile: A Holiday
Parade and Celebration” features a vivid arrangement of marching bands, colorful floats,
multi-cultural groups, horses and creative parade units. With more than 10,000 youth
community group participants and viewers along the route, the annual Junior Orange Bowl
parade is a dazzling spectacle not to be missed.
What We Do:
Our Events
The annual Junior Orange Bowl Festival hosts ten local,

The Junior Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship
draws thousands of players and spectators to South Florida
Known as one of the most prestigious junior tennis tournaments in
the world, the Junior Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship 2022 Tournament Key Dates
is held each December in South Florida drawing thousands of girls December 10: Qualifying Player Check-In
and boys, coaches and families in two age groups, 12 and under and
14 and under. December 11: Qualifying Matches Begin
With an impressive alumni list of current and former pros including December 12: Main Draw Player Check-In
Ashleigh Barty, Roger Federer, Coco Gauff, John Isner, Andy
Murray, Kei Nishikori, Sloane Stephens, Emma Raducanu, 2021 US December 13 Main Draw Matches Begin
Open Winner, Caroline Wozniacki and Alexander Zverev, the
December 19: Boy’s 12U Finals and Awards
tournament captures young champions in the making.

the Festival Season of the Junior Orange Bowl. Matches are held at tennis centers located in
Miami, Florida

Players
The Junior Orange Bowl works directly with the USTA and international federations to bring in
top competition to join the best U.S. players from around the nation. The player market is split
nearly 50/50 between International and U.S. players.
Coaches, Parents, and Attendees
Thousands of parents, coaches, and fans engage in the tournament to watch the action and
interact with our sponsors. Check-in events are fun-filled for players and allow sponsors direct
interaction with the audience. All matches are open to the public and free to attend. The matches
are advertised to encourage the community and tennis fans to attend in person as well as via live
streaming for the finals.
