Midgets: Aug. 25, 5:00pm – 6:30pm E-Sports brings a new and exciting aspect to Parks, *All players will be issued one helmet, shoulder pads, Recreation & Cultural Resources offering organized practice jersey, game jersey and mouth guard. All items are competitive gameplay between opponents, governed by its checked out and must be returned (excluding mouth guard) own set of guidelines and rules. Skills such as leadership, at the end of the season. strategic thinking, communication, teamwork, and sportsmanship are essential to compete in E-Sports – much like traditional sports. YOUTH & PRESCHOOL 2021 SUMMER CAMP Summer Camp: Ages 5 - 12 Have a summer to remember with the Fuquay-Varina summer camp. Campers can expect to participate in traditional camp activities and make new friends! Week 1: Movin’ & Groovin’ Week June 14 - June 18 Campers will have the chance to dance, sing, and craft throughout this music & dance inspired week! We’ll create musical instruments and explore all the places music can be found. Week 2: Crazy Concoctions Week June 21- June 25 Campers will learn the ins and outs of health and keeping their body active in this fun filled week. Campers will be exposed to several types of health initiatives including fitness and food! Week 3: Wild West Week June 28 - July 2 Howdy partners! Step right up for a fun-filled week of western style fun. Campers will enjoy a chance to become the best in the west. Week 4: Stars & Stripes Week July 6 - July 9 (No camp on July 5) The United States is home to many different cultures and geographies. Campers will discover the history of their country and celebrate the diversities & freedom that make America a wonderful place to live! Week 5: Out of This World Week July 12 - July 16 Has your little one always wanted to become a mad scientist or explore the vast unknown of space? Well, look no further as our campers will take on several exciting experiments and create out of this word crafts! Week 6: Shipwrecked Week July 19 - July 23 Ahoy, there mateys! Get ready to sail the seas with a week of pirate fun and games. Campers will make themed crafts and have a swashbuckling time as they get to know the many creatures that live in our oceans! Week 7: Sports Extravaganza Week July 26 - July 30 The craziness continues as we bring out all of the campers favorite sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, and more! Campers will enjoy an array of sports available throughout the week. Week 8: Animal Planet Week August 2 - August 6 Each day this week we will learn about the many animals all over the world and act like them too! Fun-filled days include animal themed crafts & games! Singles and doubles play is also developed.
