> Location Westerner Park Location Westerner Park is located in a beautiful river valley parkland, midway between Calgary and Edmonton, along the Highway 2 corridor. The central location of Red Deer makes Westerner Park an ideal location for your event. Driving Directions Coming to Red Deer northbound on Highway 2 (QEII), take Exit 391. Cross Mackenzie Road (Twp Rd 374) and follow the service road north to 17th Street, turn right, then left on 49th Avenue. Westerner Park is located on your right. Coming to Red Deer southbound on Highway 2 (QEII), take Exit 394. Turn right onto Taylor Drive, then right onto 19th Street (Secondary Highway 595) proceed east, past Gaetz Avenue (50th Ave). > Parking Parking Providing our guests with clean, well lit and ample parking is a top priority. Westerner Park offers approximately 4,000 convenient, paved parking spaces in six main lots for your event participants, attendees and guests. Westerner Park also has 52 handicapped stalls, which can be increased if a particular event requires. Services As a not-for-profit organization, Westerner Park invests all of our earnings back into the improvements of our buildings, grounds and amenities. The parking fee will help to cover the ongoing maintenance of our 2,437,000 square feet of tarmac; including snow removal and security services, ensuring the grounds are safe for our guests. A parking fee will be charged per vehicle entering Westerner Park during major events. Multi-day passes are available for weekend events lasting longer than one day, at a reduced rate. Westerner Park offers a 30 minute refund period for dropping people off. Parking is always free for visitors while they are conducting business at Westerner Park’s Donald Administration Building. When booking an event at Westerner Park a limited number of parking passes will be issued to the lessee for the duration of the event. > Harvest Centre The Harvest Centre is made up of two banquet spaces: the Marquis Room and the Heartland Room. With the Marquis Room approximately 9,400 sq ft (875 sq m) and the Heartland Room approximately 3,800 sq ft (350 sq m), together they make up a 13,200 sq ft (1,225 sq m) multi-purpose, upscale exhibition hall. These spaces are ideal for hosting a variety of events including weddings, trade shows, seminars, small conventions, and meetings.
