INVOICES As you will be aware, the Our Lady of Kāpiti School Board of Trustees opted in to the Ministry of Education funding scheme which has commenced this year. This offer means that as a school we are funded $150.00 (for trips and events etc) per student for the school year - providing that the school no longer asks Parents/Caregivers for money. Under this scheme, from Term 1 2020 Parents/Caregivers will no longer be charged for activity or trip fees or asked for a family donation. There will still be accounts sent out /added to Kindo from the school for non-donation items such as; Year 7 & 8 technology charge for take-home components (set at $60 and added to Kindo today), extra-curricular sports etc. and school camps. Invoices (on green paper) are coming home for some families today. Some of these are for costs accrued from last year for things such as school camp or uniform, which as a school, we are unable to write-off. We ask that accounts with outstanding balances from last year please be paid as soon as possible. If you wish to set up a payment scheme please see Kate.
