FA R M B U R E A U P R O G R A M S Young Farmers & Ranchers Program: YF&R is a group within Farm Bureau specifically for agriculture producers between the ages of 16 and 35. The focus is on improving leadership skills, networking, agriculture advocacy, travel — and having fun! OFB Scholarships: At the state and county level, Farm Bureau awards about $80,000 worth of scholarships to students every year. Many have deadlines starting in March. Ag Education, Health & Safety, & Women’s Advisory Council: These volunteer-led committees focus on outreach and education about Oregon agriculture to the general public and provide useful resources and workshops to Farm Bureau members. Oregon Century Farm & Ranch Program: This agricultural heritage program recognizes Oregon farm and ranch families who have worked the same land for at least 100 years. A Sesquicentennial Award is open to family farms and ranches in operation for at least 150 years.
