ATTENDANCE
• Students are expected to physically attend school daily.

• Students have three (3) days to provide Ms. Ortiz, our registrar, with a note.

• Five (5) unexcused absences for a half credit course or ten (10) in a one
  credit course:
   • Parent Meeting / Monitoring Plan / Attendance Contract
   • Credit may be withheld!

• Fifteen (15) days of unexcused absences within a ninety (90) calendar day
  period = NO DRIVER’S LICENSE and enrollment in TRUANCY program!

ATTENDANCE
• According to School Board Policy 5200, excused absences* include:
   • Student Illness or Medical Appointment
   • Death in Family
   • Religious Holiday
   • School Sponsored Event or Field Trip
   • Subpoena by law enforcement agency/mandatory court appearance

 Unexcused absences include:
  • Vacations, local non-school event, program or sporting activity (non-
    school sponsored)
  • Providing day care services for siblings / Illness of others
  • Non-compliance with immunization requirements (unless lawfully
    exempted)

DRESS CODE
        POLOS – Blue, White or Gray and tucked in

        BOTTOMS – Khaki Beige or Dark Blue pants worn
        at waist with belt and loose fit. NO skinny, athletic,
        joggers, leggings, jeggings, jeans, colored
        denim, nylon, cargo, knitted, or corduroy.

        OUTERWEAR – Sweatshirts, sweaters and jackets
        must NOT have hoodies. Outerwear can be blue,
        white, or gray and must be worn with a uniform
        polo underneath.

        SHOES – Black, Brown or White closed-toe

        FRIDAYS – School approved
        academy/club/athletic top with uniform bottoms
