Open Rabbit Show General Information 1. Mail completed entry forms with appropriate fees by July deadline. Eric Stewart, Executive Director, PO Box 5667, Bloomington, IL 61702. 4. Sanction Fees: $25.00 Open, $20.00 Youth. 5. ARBA Dues: a. Individual - $20.00 per year, $50.00 for 3 years. b. Husband/Wife - $30.00 per year, $75.00 for 3 years. 6. Polices and Guidelines: i. ARBA Rules. The Albany County Fair is offering an official ARBA sanctioned show. ARBA chartered, and sanctioned show is governed by the latest official show rules of ARBA. Exhibitors who wish to register their rabbits will be able to do so with an ARBA registrar. All rabbits will be judged according to ARBA Standard of Perfection. By the filing of your entry, you indicate your acceptance to all show rules and rules of ARBA which govern this show. ii. Entries are $4.00 per rabbit/per show. Only one exhibitor per form. Entry form must include exhibitor's information, breed, variety, sex, ear # and class. Entry forms not accompanied by all fees will not be accepted. Fur class entry fee is $2.00 per rabbit/per show. All fur entries will be entered in their breed fur. All fur entries must also be entered in their breed class. Meat pen entry fee is $4.00 per entry/per show. Meat pen consists of 3 rabbits, per entry, same breed, variety, not over 70 days old and weighing 3.5 to 5.5 pounds. iii. No substitutions will be made except for same breed, class, variety, and sex. Substitutions will be made at the show table before the class is judged. iv. All rabbits exhibited at these shows must have a permanent legible tattoo in the left ear. v. All exhibitors will be responsible for getting their rabbits to the judging table when called. The class will be called 3 times. If they are not on the table after the 3rd call, the class will be closed. THERE WILL BE NO REJUDGING OF A CLASS. vi. This is a carry in cage show. Cages must be self-contained. Solid bottom carriers only. vii. Any rabbit showing signs of disease shall be removed from the show area at once. Any associated costs will be the responsibility of the owner and entry fees will be forfeited. viii. Anyone wishing to sanction their breed through their breed's specialty club, needs to contact the show secretary immediately. Sanctioned breeds will be awarded according to the rules of their breed. ix. Release of liability for RHDV2 and COVID-19. See attached sheet.
