For the last several years, the US Open has provided players with a complimentary match DVD for all televised singles matches played in Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand and Courts 11, 13 and 17. We are pleased to announce this service is being expanded in 2013 to include all televised doubles matches played on these courts, and as an added bonus, we will now also supply this match footage to players on complimentary flash drives. As you are aware, the US Open has added an additional day to its schedule for 2013, which will impact all five main draw events. The mixed doubles final is now scheduled for Friday, September 6th; the women’s doubles final for Saturday, 7th; the men’s doubles and women’s singles final for Sunday, 8th; and the men’s singles final on Monday, 9th. The US Open Junior Championships and the US Open Wheelchair Competition are not impacted by the schedule change—both will end on Sunday, September 8th. This year also marks the return of the US Open Wheelchair Tennis Competition and an enhanced Champions’ Invitational. The US Open is the only Grand Slam that broadcasts any portion of the qualifying event.
