Dear Friends, What a year this has been! All of the twists and surprises 2020 brought have challenged String Theory to innovate in ways I had never imagined. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support as we explore our first-ever virtual season. While I miss seeing you at the Hunter, it has been amazing to connect ON TV with all of you this fall through String Theory @ Home. We now have these concerts beautifully captured on video to enjoy for a long time to come. Seeing String Theory on TV was simply surreal and it was exciting to share our programming with thousands in the Chattanooga area. This spring, String Theory @ Home returns with a two-part concert fea- turing two-time GRAMMY nominee, violinist Jennifer Frautschi. She will String Theory and WTCI-TV, Chattanooga’s local PBS be making her String Theory debut along with String Theory station, are partnering to bring you two very special favorites, violist Paul Neubauer, cellist Edward Arron, and bassist Thomas Van Dyck and myself. We will be performing works by broadcasts of String Theory @ Home concerts this Schumann, Fauré, and Schubert, ending with the beloved “Trout” spring. Quintet.
