NWAAAE Annual Conference October 5-8, 2021 Salt Lake City, UT 50th Anniversary Celebration [In person and Virtual] Hosted by:
Schedule of Events All events are held at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center – Grand Ballroom unless otherwise noted. Tuesday, October 5th • NWAAAE Board Meeting / Time TBD • Evening event at the Gallivan Center / 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. / 50 East 200 South Conference host, the Salt Lake City Dept. of Airports, invites attendees to an evening of food and entertainment to kick off the Northwest Chapter’s 50th anniversary annual conference. The Gallivan Center is a short, two block walk from the Hilton - gather in the lobby at 4:45pm for the walk over or make your way at your convenience. Dinner will be held in Gallivan Hall with entertainment playing in the amphitheater. Wednesday, October 6th • Breakfast Social – Tables Hosted by SLC Staff • Workshop – The New SLC: Rebuilding for the Future / 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. An in-depth look at the SLC Redevelopment Project that began in July 2014 and will continue in phases through 2024. The $4 billion program includes a new parking garage, terminal building and concourses with a focus on flexible design that meets operational needs, user convenience and sustainability. The workshop will focus on Design Input, Delivery Method, Sustainability and Architecture/Maintenance. • Networking Luncheon at the Salt Lake City Int’l Airport / 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Meet in the Hilton lobby for transportation to the airport for a lunch hosted by SLC. For those that would like to join the group at the airport, please meet at the Information Desk located on the 2nd level of the Terminal near the escalators. • Airport Tour / 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. You heard all about it during the workshop, probably walked through it on your arrival to Salt Lake City and this is your opportunity to really see firsthand the results of the SLC Redevelopment Project. Join SLC staff for a “behind-the-scenes tour” of The New SLC. • 1 Time Attendee Mixer / 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. st An opportunity for first time attendees of a Northwest Chapter conference to meet the Officers, Board and Committee Chairs of NWAAAE. • President’s Opening Reception / 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Northwest Chapter President Brian Sprenger, AAE invites you to be his guest as he welcomes everyone to the 2021 NWAAAE Annual Conference. Light refreshments with hosted bar. • Free evening – attendees on their own for dinner. Thursday, October 7th • Breakfast Social – Tables Hosted by Northwest Chapter Committees • Keynote Speaker – Michelle Porcelli Michelle Porcelli is one of the most requested speakers for Corporate and Leadership Conferences. She is an award-winning presenter who is entertaining, educational and produces results in the lives of others.
