ANNUAL BLUEGRASS TRANSITION PROGRAMS Golf course superintendents and sod growers have options for using Velocity® SP Herbicide to effectively transition annual bluegrass out of turf, with several updates to the product’s label on rates and timing. ANTHRACNOSE CONTROL PREVENTIVE CONTROL >> % INFESTED ON BENTGRASS/POA Although anthracnose can be found on fairways, tees, and rough, it is most prone on golf greens and most devastating 31% to creeping bentgrass and annual bluegrass. WAITEA PATCH CONTROL CURATIVE CONTROL >> % DISEASE Waitea patch occurs when temperatures are around 26°C. Temperatures around 32°C during the day often result in more dramatic symptom patterns. This is a rhizoctonia-like 0.0% 13.8% fungus also known as brown ring patch. Stowell SNOW MOULD CONTROL SNOW MOULD >> % DISEASE ON BENTGRASS GREY SNOW MOULD: Grey snow mould is usually found in areas with the greatest snow accumulation. You’ll notice white crusted areas of grass in which blades are dead, 2.4% 53.9% bleached and matted together. The bleached areas range from 7 to 30 centimeters across.
