In January 2020, West Point established CIAG with the purpose to elevate, develop and integrate character education across all of the developmental programs. In October 2020, Superintendent Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams directed the CIAG and the Superintendent’s Honor Review Committee to conduct a bottom-up review of the cadet honor process and to assess the overall effectiveness of the Cadet Honor Code and the Honor System. The purpose is to ensure the Cadet Honor Code and Honor System are effectively and efficiently achieving the character development goals articulated in West Point’s strategic documents. Mark C. Quander will be the next Commandant of Cadets at the U.S. Military Academy. “It is a true honor to be selected as the 79th Commandant of Cadets. It’s my responsibility to ensure we are developing and mentoring our Army’s future leaders of character while preparing our graduates to lead in an increasingly complex and uncertain world,” Quander said. “My family and I are excited for this opportunity and we look forward to joining the academy team. Go Army, Beat Navy!” Quander graduated from West Point in 1995 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; a Master of Science from Brig. Gen. Mark C. A night after riding three unanswered goals to a win, the Black Knights scored four unanswered goals to claim their fourth victory in their last five games. After falling behind 1-0, Army evened the game just 13 seconds later when junior forward Daniel Haider sent home a rebound to even the score 1-1.
