We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Online registration is available for some of our programs at narragansettrec.org. If you have not previously signed up for online registration, please contact the Parks and Recreation Office at 782-0658. What are your office hours? The office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, 782-0658 and is located on 170 Clarke Road . What happens if the weather is bad? If a class or program is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be posted on the town website, www.narragansettri.gov. Emails will be sent to families who have provided an email address. Is there a registration deadline? We request payment and registration no later than one week prior to the start of the program. What is your refund policy? In cases of program cancellation, a full refund will automatically be processed. All other refunds are subject to the approval of the Director. Refund Request Forms are available at the Parks and Recreation office. The cold days of winter are over and we turn our thoughts and plans to another spring and summer season in Narragansett. The Parks Department staff continues to work daily in an effort to satisfy the needs of our community. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce a wide selection of fun and healthy programs and activities for all ages throughout the summer season. As always, we strive to provide the best customer service possible to all of our patrons. Town Facility Rentals Having a wedding, party or meeting? One of our venues is sure to meet your needs. North Beach Clubhouse 79 Boston Neck Road Situated on the Narragansett Town Beach, the Clubhouse provides the per- fect beach front setting for all types of occasions. The Clubhouse is open year round for rentals. For more information please contact Daisy MacLeod at 788-2573 or dmacleod@narragansettri.gov. The Towers & The Gazebo 35 Ocean Road and 25 Ocean Road Overlooking the Narragansett Town Beach, both venues are ideal for many events. The Towers is open year round for rentals. Kinney Bungalow at Sunset Farm 505 Point Judith Road One of Narragansett’s picturesque and historic landmarks, Kinney Bungalow is located on Sunset Farm. Available for rent from May through October. Narragansett Community Center 55 Mumford Road For Narragansett residents only, the Community Center offers several different sized rooms for year round rentals. For more information, call 782-0675 or kflint@narragansettri.gov. Sprague Meeting Room 179 Kingstown Road The renovated building located at the Sprague Tennis Courts has a meeting room which is available for rental. Small group meetings or ac- tivities are suited perfectly for this building. Beach Facility Rentals Cabana Package The cabanas are open to residents only. These units come with showers. Beach equipment may be stored in the units for the summer sea- son. The fee for beach cabanas is $2,500.00 and includes six facility passes, and two transfera- ble parking passes. South Pavilion Package The units in the South Pavilion are open to resident/taxpayers (and 2017-prior non- residents) 2018 forward units are available to resident/taxpayers only. These units are small 4’ high by 4’ deep by 2’wide storage lockers which can accommodate beach chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. The fee is $350.00. This package includes four facility North Pavilion Package passes and one parking pass. The North Pavilion is open to residents only. These units are 4’ deep x 5-1/2’ wide chang- ing rooms. The fee is $700.00 for the sum- mer season. This package includes four facil- ity passes and one parking pass. 6
Narragansett Town Beach Seasonal Beach Pass Photo ID Narragansett Residents Youth (12-17) $10.00 Adult (18-61) $25.00 Senior (62 & over) Free Non-residents non-eligible Seasonal Parking Passes Available to Narragansett Residents and Taxpayers ONLY for $50.00 per sticker. Daily Fees Parking: The daily beach parking fee for Residents and Non-Residents is $10.00, Monday through Friday; $15.00 on weekends and holidays. Available on a first come, first serve basis. Admission: The daily beach admission fee for Residents and Non-Residents is $10.00. Age 11 and younger are free. Transferable Beach Passes: Narragansett/Taxpayers not for rentals or business $75.00 Commercial Transferable Pass $200.00 *Veterans Passes: Narragansett Disabled Veterans and Active Duty Military FREE *Must be a Narragansett Resident Important Reminders The Town Beach is openthweekends only from Memorial Day weekend to June 10 th and open daily 8:30am-6:00pm June 11 through Labor Day. Showers and rest rooms are available daily during the beach season 8:30am-8:00pm and also during the months of May and September 8:30am-5:00pm. Children 11 years and under have free admission to the beach. Must be accompanied by an adult- 16 years or older. Admission and parking passes are NON-TRANSFERABLE and ID is required at the time of purchase. No dogs on the beach May 15th through September 15th. 7

15TH Annual Environmental Awareness Day Saturday, July 14th 10:00AM-1:00PM The Town of Narragansett is partnering with the Rhode Island Rivers Council to host the 15th Annual Environmental Awareness Day at the Narragansett Town Beach. BEACH PROGRAMS Surfing Camp The Narragansett Parks & Recreation Department and the Narragansett Town Beach are pleased to host weekly surf camps from the towns own surf shops. Learn everything you will need to know to rip up the waves from certified instructors from Gansett Surf & Skate Shop or Warm Winds Surf Shop. Fees will include board, leash and wet suit. 2018 Summer Camp at Narragansett The Camp at Narragansett, located at 170 Clarke Road, is a summer favorite for girls and boys, age groups 5-8 & 9-12 years old. The camp offers a summer full of activities including sports, games, arts and crafts, and weekly field trips which include trips to the Town Beach. Casey Farm Camp When: August 6th—10th Time: 9:00am-3:00pm Ages: 5-12 year olds Cost: $215.00 This is a camp filled with fun and learning experiences on a working organic farm. Three hundred acres of gardens, meadows, woodlands, and shoreline provide a unique setting for camp. Activities in- clude making butter, soap, candles and ice cream, exploring the woods, a hayride and swim in the riv- er. The camp staff is highly talented educators who strive to provide a safe and rich environment for the children.
