Welcome to my third grade class. I am so glad you are here. I heard that I have the “best” MAC students in Room 409. Do you agree?
How can we PROVE we are the best? Remember, actions speak LOUDER than words!
Our Rules • “Bee” a good listener and show respect. • “Bee” kind with your words and actions. • “Bee” a hard worker and always give your best. • “Bee”lieve in yourself and encourage others. • Strive to “bee” a role model by following classroom and school expectations.
Behavior Clip Chart • To help keep track of our behavior, we will use the Clip Chart located in the back of the room. • Everyone will start on READY to LEARN. • Making good choices moves you UP the clip chart. Moving UP = REWARDS. • Making unwise choices moves you DOWN the clip chart. Moving DOWN = CONSEQUENCES. Don‘t go down!!!
Mrs. McDavid Cares • I care deeply about all of my students! • I believe that we are a community of learners and that we have the BEST class in all of Midland. • I believe that if we take time to nurture each other…support each other… encourage each other…we will create an environment built on trust and love. A place we will WANT to be a part of every single day!
Remember, “bee” a role model to your classmate. Nurture each other…support each other… encourage each other…. Turn & Talk How can you nurture, support, and encourage your classmates?
