A. REGISTRATION ➢ Registration process Online entries are made through the http://www.fise.fr/en website. It is necessary to create a rider profile directly on the website. Then the registration form has to be filled in online. For minors, parental permission is required and must be uploaded on the website while registering. Without authorization, on-line registration will not be taken into account. The registration fee will be directly paid online via PayPal. You will find the registration section at this link: http://www.fise.fr/en/competition- subscription . In case you have already been at a FISE event or already got an account and if you have lost your password to log in on your rider profile, do not hesitate to contact our FISE Sports Team at contest@fise.fr . Online registration will be closed 8 days before the start of the event. After May the 21st, registration will not be possible. « Registration in the Men Elite and Women Elite categories for the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup shall be done by pre-registration only. Once the pre- registration deadline has passed, no further entries shall be accepted. » UCI Rules Book – Part 6bis, Chapter IX : 6bis.9.002 « The organizer is not allowed to accept any entries after the riders’ confirmation deadline found in the Technical Guide. The Commissaire appointed to supervise the Competition shall rule in the event of a dispute. Ignorance of the provisions of the Technical Guide or of the competition schedule shall not be admitted as an excuse by any rider or other license holder. » UCI Rules Book – Part 6bis, Chapter III : 6bis.3.004 « No further entries shall be accepted following the end of riders’ confirmation. ➢ Registration regulations • Licence A valid cycling license, as defined in Part I of the UCI Regulations will be required and must be presented at riders confirmation to check their identity. An identity card or passport is also mandatory. Once all the terms of the registration are completed, the organization will give riders a wristband allowing them to enter the competition area. It is imperative that all the riders keep their band throughout the event, otherwise the access to the park will be denied. A rider whose license could not be verified and whose status as a non- suspended license holder cannot be established in any other manner may not start and may not figure in the classification of the event. » UCI Rules Book - Part 6bis, Chapter VI : Riders Confirmation, 6bis.3.017 Entry in the competition implies agreement with the event schedule, regulations and all provisions of the Technical Guide. • Riders eligibility To register at the UCI World Cup, 50 points at the UCI Individual Ranking are required. You will be able to see whether or not a rider is entitled to register in BMX Park (minimum 50 ranking points) here : https://www.uci.org/bmx-freestyle/rankings In case a Park rider does not have 50 or more points his registration will be refused. In case a national federation does not presently have any riders with 50 or more points as of the ranking deadline for any particular event, that federation nevertheless has the right to enter a single rider for the category in question. In this case, it is up to the national federation to choose which rider is entered, if any. • World Cup Registration Registration Open : 1st May, 12h00 CET (Wednesday) Registration Closes : 21st May, 12h00 CET (Tuesday) Ranking Deadline* : 30th April (Tuesday) Top 50 Deadline** : 8th May (Wednesday) *This is the date by which a rider must have earned at least 50 points in the UCI BMX Freestyle Park Individual ranking in order to register in that particular event. Note that this ranking includes points earned for each rider in the 1-year period preceding the date on which the ranking is published (that is, the Ranking Deadline found in the table above). ** This is the date by which a rider in the top 50 of the UCI Individual Ranking published earlier in the same week must register in order to avoid riding in a Pre- Qualification Round. Change your details ➢ Rules Each participant is engaged on their own behalf and those of their employees and agents, and must observe all the provisions of the Technical Guide for the event. Every participant shall follow the directions of the organization and appointed officials, and any penalties that may be applied. Ignorance of the provisions of the Technical Guide or the event schedule shall not be admitted as an excuse by any rider or other license holder. You certify that you have no contraindications (medical or otherwise) to practice a sport in competition. Also you authorize the intervention of first aid, and if necessary, your transfer to medical services. You authorize SAS Hurricane and their partners: - to film and / or photograph you - to reproduce, exploit and disseminate whatever the medium, or the content produced. - to use your image and the said product contents whether for commercial purposes and or promotional. You grant this from this day and for a 10-year free of charge. You undertake not to ask for any remuneration or financial contribution to SAS Hurricane and partners. ➢ JUDGING CRITERIA The performance of each rider is judged on overall impression including, but not limited to: - Difficulty - Versatility - Bike control - Height - Style - Landings - Flow - Consistency - Use of the course - Originality - Variety of tricks - Execution - Control of the tricks - Progression The overall composition of the runs is most important as the judges evaluate the sequences of tricks, the amount of risk in the routine, and how the rider uses the course. The judges take errors such as falls and stops into consideration. It will be awarded by financial contribution of € 1,000 for the winner. o Prize Giving The award ceremony will take place just after the end of the final, be sure to stay on the park for the announcement of the final results. o Payment Prize money will be ready 20 minutes after the prize giving ceremony at the FISE Office – Place Aragon. C. RANKINGS ➢ FISE WORLD SERIES - POINTS TABLE At each stage of the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup, points are awarded to riders to establish an overall ranking. This ranking is updated at each step.
