Sunday, March 3, 2019 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM MONGOLIA @ PDAC 2019 Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Presentation room 206D Introduction The Government of Mongolia has been actively taking part in the world’s premier Mineral Exploration & Mining Con- vention and held Mongolian mining industry promotion events since 2012. This year we are focusing on Tavan tolgoi coking coal mine and its regional infrastructure development initiatives while presenting investment opportunities in the industry. WHY ATTEND THE MONGOLIA SESSION? Mongolia’s copper, high quality coking coal and other minerals are likely to attract more foreign investment into the country. In June, 2018 Mongolian Parliament approved an initial public offering proposal in Tavan tolgoi deposit and assigned the Government to take steps for the construction of a railway and roads in the Gobi region. The planned infrastructure development is expected to in- crease value of deposits sitting in the southern part of Mongolian, making them economically more viable. While the Government is looking to attract investment from Canada and international cap- ital markets, investors take cautious approaches to the country’s political stability and legal environment. The event we are holding provides opportunities for the Government and all other stake- holders to share planned actions, priorities and perspectives. Meet with Mongolian industry key policy and decision makers Exchange views with Government officials Hear about the latest successful exploration and mining projects in Mongolia Share your thoughts with the industry leaders and exchange view Network with most successful mining industry players in Mongolia WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Institutional and retail investors Investment banks, securities dealers, and commercial lawyers Mining companies looking for potential acquisition in Mongolia Exploration companies already established in Mongolia and new startups Commercial and development banks and financial organizations Government delegation looking to establish and strengthen rela- tionship with Mongolian Government Consultants, suppliers to the mining industry
