30 Years of Golf at Cordova Bay Since our opening in July of 1991, our golf course has undergone many changes leading us to the wonderful property we have today. Adding the Ridge Course in 1999, the opportunities for great golf at Cordova Bay continue to only get better with something for players of all ages and abilities. As we reflect on 30 years of golf, we are very proud of where we are today and equally as excited about where we are headed. We also recognize that golf is about much more than just game. A day at the course should be an experience. Our members, our visitors, and our staff have evolved into a Cordova Bay Golf Community that has and continues to play a key role in creating something special. Since inception, we remain committed to our core value of continuous improvement. We will not waiver in looking for opportunities to improve the player experience at Cordova Bay. Thanks for joining us in the upcoming 2021 season we look forward to many more years of enjoyment amongst friends and nature. Enjoy the walk!

The Men’s Club Program The Cordova Bay Men’s Club provides our members with a multitude of ways to further enjoy Cordova Bay. We host a Men’s Night in season (April 15 - September 15) for our members. Men’s Night is Thursdays and includes golf, prizes, and a dinner voucher. The Men’s Club hosts tournaments approximately once a month throughout the year. The tournaments are a great way to test your skill and meet your fellow Men’s Club members. Combine these events with opportunities to represent your club in interclub competition and participation in our season long Mattick’s Cup and you are certain to be busy year round. All Men’s Club members receive Golf Canada and BC Golf memberships, which provides a home course handicap and a factor allowing you to participate in many local and out of town tournaments, as well as additional benefits extended through Golf Canada. The Men’s Club season wraps up with the Last Chance event and the AGM in November. All Men’s Club members are welcome to attend the AGM. The men’s club executive will elect officers for the coming season at the AGM. Any member who is keen to serve on the executive is welcome to put their name forward for openings.
The Ladies’ Club Program The Cordova Bay Ladies’ Club is one of the largest in British Columbia. An active membership, the Ladies’ Club offers our members a great home base; the perfect environment to make new friends and enjoy golf. Every Tuesday and Saturday the ladies get together and enjoy a ‘Ladies’ Day’; a day dedicated to ladies golf, full of fun, casual competition and camaraderie. You do not need to organize a group – we do it for you! Several special events round out the year, each with a different feel and experience, but all founded on the same premise to enjoy the game of golf. Ladies are welcome to participate in Interclub matches that take place throughout the city and lower island. Players are chosen based on availability. All Ladies’ Club members receive Golf Canada and BC Golf memberships, which provides a home course handicap and a factor allowing you to participate in many local and out of town tournaments, as well as all member benefits provided by Golf Canada. Each year the Ladies’ Club hosts two Annual General Meetings in March (Spring Opener) and October (Fall Meeting and Awards). Ladies are encouraged to attend these meetings. If you have ideas and opinions and would like to make a difference, positions on our Ladies’ Executive are available each year. Any member is welcome to put their name forward. The positions are 2 year terms.

The Ridge Course Members are always welcome at the Ridge Course and will be extended a member discount on fees and rentals. The Ridge Course requires tee time reservations and members receive the same head start in booking as they do at the Bay Course. The Ridge is a perfect compliment to your regular 18 hole games as it is sure to keep your short game sharp. PARC Short Game We’ve seen you chip! The PARC short game facility offers you the chance to work on all aspects required to lower scores. The massive putting green, dedicated chipping green, practice bunker, and pitching green capture everything needed to excel from 30 yards and in. Callaway Pro practice balls are on site to make your work even more realistic. PARC access is available by reservation and members will receive a preferred rate for facility use.
REBATE PROGRAM Frequent Player Rebate Program The Frequent Player Rebate Program is available to all Men’s and Ladies’ Club Members. Green fee rebates are accumulated over the Membership Year (March 1, 2021 - February 28, 2022) and credited to your account on the last day of February. • Rebates are calculated solely on net green fee expenditures, which exclude taxes and prize dollars. • Green fee expenditures for special events, special tee times and tournaments do not qualify. Special events such as Club Tournaments and Men’s Night already include discounted green fees and do not qualify. Only green fees for the “Account Member” qualify for rebates. A maximum of one green fee per day will be counted. We encourage members golfing together to charge to their own accounts to maximize rebate earning potential. The Progressive Rebate Structure: *Level 1: 10% rebate after green fee expenditures of $2,000 *Level 2: 18% rebate after green fee expenditures of $3,000 *Level 3: 50% rebate after green fee expenditures of $4,200 No rebates are earned until you reach the initial threshold figure of $2,000. Your rebate depends on the threshold figure you reach at the end of the year. If you reach the first or second level you will receive a 10% or 18% discount on all qualifying expenditures. Qualifying expenditures in excess of $4,200 will earn a credit of 50% of the amount spent over $4,200.
REBATE PROGRAM Bill Mattick’s Rebate Program For the 2021 member year, we will be offering a year end rebate program to all members based on their spending in the restaurant. To qualify, all sales must be linked to your account regardless of payment method. Upon receipt of your bill, we ask that you always print your name and member number on your receipt. We are unable to link receipts once they have been closed. Members who meet or exceed $400 annually in qualifying expenditures will receive a year end rebate.
