BLOG
Established in 2014, Spin the Windrose is a
sustainable travel and lifestyle blog for those who
wish to see the world, whilst leaving as little impact
on the planet as possible. Topics covered include eco-
tourism, sustainable travel and lifestyle tips, travel
itineraries and vegan guides.
Readers are typically in their mid-twenties to thirties
and are advocates of slow-travel around a 9-5. They
opt for affordable accommodation and activities
which give something back to local communities. At
home they are interested in eco-friendly alternatives
to everyday choices. They expect honest opinions,
sound advice, beautiful photos and detailed articles.

Abbi Bishop is a part-time blogger based in
Peterborough, UK. She travelled full-time for
three years after graduating with a
languages degree, travelling to 30 countries

across five continents. She has lived abroad
in France, Italy and New Zealand.
Moving back home from long-term travel in
2018 opened a new chapter. Travel was no

sustainability became the forefront of Abbi's
actions. Now, she writes about sustainability
as well as travel, covering eco-tourism,
vegan options, and low waste initiatives,
alongside travel guides and itineraries.
