Introduction Ambermere Inn has a rich and colourful history dating back to 1845 and is one of the regions most iconic buildings. The historic homestead & barn is situated on 6 acres at the western foothills of the Blue Mountains with a spectacular backdrop of Mt York. The venue is well suited for weddings, corporate & special events and can cater for up to 150 people.
Catered Events The Barn can seat up to 100 guests with a full stage, bar & outdoor fire pit. Located at the northern side of the property adjacent to the open paddock overlooking Mt York, it has a relaxed rustic feel to it creating a unique event space. For larger events up to 150 people the paddock is the perfect space for marquee and open air events capturing the essence of the surrounding grounds of the historic property and its views Beverage packages start at Catered events start at $75pp (min.60 $55pp (5hr service) adults) 2 course grazing style inclusive Pre - dinner canapé & drinks start 5hr venue hire at $45pp (1hr)
Dry Hire The property is available for dry hire and prices start from $5000 for 5hr venue hire. Additional hours are available at $1000/hr. Tables & chairs up to 100 people are included along with the use of our service kitchen only. Surcharges may apply.
Ceremony options 1. Onsite 2. Hartley Historic Village Ambermere is the perfect wedding venue for both your ceremony & reception however the Hartley Historic Village is within close proximity to the property and offers the more traditional church ceremony. There is St Bernards Catholic Church and St John Anglican Church along with stunning photo opportunities with the quaint charm of the villages number of buildings complimenting the overall theme of your event with us here at Ambermere Inn.
Accommodation We have some great accommodation options within 10mins drive from Ambermere Inn. There are a number of guest houses and air bnb choices in Mt Victoria, Kanimbla Valley & the Hartley region. A bus service can be arranged for you and your guests convenience to transport you to and from your accommodation houses.
