Tour basics Getting there We will depart from school by coach on Saturday 7th March 2020 at 7.00pm and will arrive in Disneyland at 10.15am on Sunday 8th March. Please drop your child off at School by 6.30pm on the Saturday. Returning home We will leave Disneyland at 8.30am on Tuesday 5th March and arrive home at 9.00pm. Please collect your child from school at this time.
Tour basics Our accommodation We will stay at Hotel Cheyenne in the Disneyland resort for 2 nights. This accommodation is on a B&B board basis. Rooms and sharing have already been allocated, via help of pupils, if there are any concerns with these please let me know. Rooms are either twins or triples.
Tour basics Meal arrangements Continental breakfast provided by the hotel on the Monday and Tuesday morning. Two evening meals booked out for Sunday and Monday night. Pupils to arrange their own lunch on the Sunday and Monday. Pupils will need to sort out their own food when travelling, stops will be made along the way.
Tour basics Travel tips – money The currency in Paris is the Euro. We recommend that students take no more than £30 with them on the visit to use whilst travelling in the UK. We recommend that students take around €40 with them for food at Disneyland Paris, and then it is up to you for spends.
Tour basics Travel tips – packing The weather in Paris at this time of year is pretty much the same as here – cold and wet! As such, I recommend that students pack the following essential items for their tour: Jackets Waterproof coat Clothes to wear Comfortable shoes

Saturday • Leave De La Salle school at 7.00pm • Pit stop along the way. • Drive down to Folkestone for the Eurotunnel. What will we see & do?
Sunday • Arrive at ferry terminal and check in at Dover for 3.20am. • Train departs for Calais at 4.35am. • Arrive at Calais 6.10am (local time). • Estimated time of arrival for Hotel Cheyenne at 10.15am. • Bag drop, freshen up (face wash) and collect park tickets. • Rest of the day in Disneyland Park. • Lunch, as and when, pupils to organise this within their friendship groups. • Meeting point at 4.00pm for check in and freshen up. What will we see & do? • Evening meal at Planet Hollywood– 6.30pm • Firework show – 8.00pm • Bed – Lights out straight away
Monday • 7.15am Continental breakfast • 8.15am leave the hotel for Maths LIVE! conference. • 8.30am arrive at Gaumont Cinema for Maths LIVE! • 9.00am Maths LIVE! conference commences. • 12.00am conference finishes. • Lunch - as and when, pupils to organise this within their friendship groups. • Rest of the day in Walt Disney Studios Park. • Evening meal and entertainment at Buffalo Bills Wild West Show – 8.30pm What will we see & do? • Firework show? • Pack • Bed – 12.00pm – Lights out by 12.00pm
Tuesday • Breakfast (time to be confirmed). • 8.00am vacate rooms. • 8.30am board coach and depart for Calais. • 12.30pm check in at the Eurotunnel terminal. • 1.50pm depart from Calais to Folkestone. What will we see & do? • 1.25pm (local time) leave for school. • Arrive home for 9.00pm • Bed – Lights out ASAP!

Don’t forget… Passports and EHIC cards (hand to me at the end), We’re on money and medications etc. our way! Drop your child off at School at 6.30pm on Saturday 7th March. Collect your child at De La Salle on Tuesday! If you have any questions or emergencies whilst your child is away, please contact school.
