Teaching in Fall Semester 2020

− The focus will be on digital teaching (streaming within the timetable and/or podcast, dubbed
presentations, Zoom meetings, Zoom webinars etc.), not on face-to-face teaching.
− Digital teaching will be accompanied by face-to-face teaching if the lecturers consider it necessary or
     useful.
− For attending face-to-face or online lectures, a registration for the lecture is necessary. This is done by
     OLAT or other online platforms.

Registration for a face-to-face lecture and/or the online lecture

For registration for a face-to-face lecture and/or the online lecture, we recommend taking the following
steps:
             1. Check out the course catalogue, and search for the module you want to attend.
             2. Check who is teaching the course. Go to the website of the professor to find more detailed
information about his or her lecture, for instance on which platform his lectures are broadcasted
or if there is the possibility to attend the lecture in class:
                https://www.ius.uzh.ch/de/staff/professorships/alphabetical.html
The information may be published at a later stage but on 14 September at the latest.
             3. In most cases the materials are provided on OLAT (https://lms.uzh.ch/dmz/). Under the following
link you will find instructions and more detailed information on the use of OLAT:
                https://help.olat.uzh.ch/display/OO114EN
NOTE: registration for a lecture is not the same as module booking. You will have to follow both registration
procedures.
