A celebration of the perfect blending of the Après Ski
Experience with the Craft of the Cocktail, March 8-11,
2018 in Aspen, Colorado. This slope-side extravaganza will
feature the best in après-ski culture with everything from
hot toddies to mountain-top parties, After Après parties,
seminars, fireside chats, the Taste of Après Experience,
Cocktail-Paired Dinners, and the Great Après Ski Pub Crawl
& Cocktail Competition!
The Classic brings together brand ambassadors, bartenders,
mixologists, chefs, spirit aficionados and professional
tipplers for a four-day sip in the snow. So, grab your ski hat,
blanket and raise a hot toddy (or snifter of something) and
join us for the Après-Ski Cocktail Classic

APRÈS-SKI FROM WIKIPEDIA, THE FREE ENCYCLOPEDIA
Après-ski (French: after skiing) refers to going out, having drinks, dancing, and
generally socializing after skiing.[1][2] It is popular in the Alps, where skiers often
stop at bars on their last run of the day while still wearing all their ski gear.[3] The
concept is similar to the nineteenth hole in golf. This can also happen anywhere in
the world where there is snow. In the United States, the term is used more broadly
to describe the atmosphere of ski resorts and ski culture, ski themed architecture
and decor, and the ski oriented lifestyle in general. (*an ASCC add: we, of course,
must include fantastic high-marque libations of every sort).

Welcome to this year’s APRÈS SKI COCKTAIL CLASSIC, a four-day slope-side
celebration of the Après Ski Cocktail Experience in Aspen, CO. Join us for a little
“welcome to Aspen” kick-off soirèe at Jimmy’s Bodega, with some libations from
the good people of Hendrick’s, Monkey Shoulder, and Mount Gay Rum, some good
sounds courtesy of the DAVID HIGGINS BAND, and some excited support for local
not-for-profit ASPEN STRONG’s alcohol awareness initiative.

Join us at 11k feet for a little Après with THE DAVID HIGGINS BAND this Friday
for the first Spring Party Series at the Sundeck. Late skiing, Amazing Cocktails
presented by Hendricks Gin and Monkey Shoulder Scotch. Local DJs, DJ TNZA and
Kevin Joyal.
You’ll need a Gondola Pass if you don’t have a lift ticket... buy one at the Aspen
Ticketing Office at lower gondola plaza.

This year features the “TASTE OF APRÈS EXPERIENCE” that brings FREE
SAMPLINGS AND SEMINARS (Yes, we said FREE!!!) from brand ambassadors
of the world’s top-of-class spirits, and will take place in multiple venues around
town and on-mountain (like the top of Aspen Mountain, the St Regis Hotel,
Chef’s Club, Hotel Jerome, Hooch, Marble Bar at Grand Hyatt, Jimmy’s Bodega,
and the Aspen Cooking School to name a few)… just look for the banners, and
be prepared to show your ID for a wristband.
