REGISTRATION
        Registration for Library Programs
                                 Program registration begins March 9

  The majority of the programs in this guide will be offered at
  the temporary library (located at Unit 100, 100 Broadview Dr).
  However, it is possible that program locations may change.
  Please visit our website at sclibrary.ca/calendar to double-
  check the location of the programs you plan to attend.

Strathcona County Library has a mix of drop-in and registered programs. Registration details are included
in each of the program descriptions. Library programs are free unless otherwise specified.

       SENIORS' WEEK KICK-OFF JUNE 3.
       Seniors make a difference in our community every day.
       Seniors’ Week allows us the opportunity to recognize seniors' contributions
       in making Strathcona County a supported, safe and connected community
       for all.
       Family and Community Services will kick-off Seniors’ Week by hosting an
       open house celebration, Monday, June 3 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
       Refreshments, snacks and entertainment will be provided at this kick
       off event. Other community activities will be highlighted as well.

individuals and families of all ages.
Our team assists seniors with their individual needs in a way
that are action oriented and focused on finding solutions to real
life challenges. As every senior’s needs and resources are different,
the action plan will be specific to each person. Our team can assist
over the phone or in person.
These challenges may include, but are not limited to:
• housing                             • legal and financial support
• relationships                       • addictions
• food security                       • anxiety/stress
• mental health                       • grief and loss
