Summary This Schedule provides the annual Tuition and Non-Tuition fees, levies and charges for a Full Fee Paying Overseas Student (FFPOS) who has been granted entry to Australia on a Student Visa. All fees noted in this document are for Australian Dollars (AUD). Invoice Dates These fees are invoiced upfront each Semester (study period) and are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). Overseas Student Fees are set by the College Council on an annual basis, although Council reserves the right to amend these at any time. The due date for payment of 2020 fees are: SEMESTER 1 29 January 2020 SEMESTER 2 14 July 2020 Enrolment All correspondence concerning enrolment and boarding accommodation should be addressed to the Registrar. Contract The Application for Enrolment and the Enrolment Contract are binding documents for the enrolment of the student and the paying of fees by the parent/guardian enrolling within the terms set. Any payment plan committed by the family is read in conjunction with the Contract and is a legal document. A current and correctly completed Enrolment Contract is required at the time of the student commencing his/her education at Concordia Lutheran College. This form must be held on the College file for each student at all times for legal purposes. Any changes to contact telephone numbers, email addresses, work contacts, emergency contacts, health condition of the student, or residential addresses must be advised to the College and can be effected directly via Parent Lounge or the College Website www.concordia.qld.edu.au. Withdrawal of Enrolment/Cancellation In the case of withdrawal without a term’s notice in writing to the Head of College after commencement at the College, the term’s tuition/boarding charges will be raised and are payable by the family prior to final day. The following notice is required for withdrawal from the College: Date of Withdrawal from Concordia Notice to be provided by Term 2, 2020 (commences 21 April 2020) 1 January 2020 Term 3, 2020 (commences 14 July 2020) 1 April 2020 Term 4, 2020 (commences 6 October 2020) 1 July 2020 Term 1, 2021 (commencement date to be confirmed) 1 October 2020 Concordia Lutheran College reserves the right to cancel a student’s enrolment if fees are in arrears and arrangements have not been made with the Business Manager regarding payment. Discounts The following discounts are available to international students: Advance Payment Discount If a family pays all charges for the school year prior to the commencement of Semester 1, they will be eligible to receive a $500 discount off tuition and a $500 discount off boarding fees for the year. Sibling Discount For families with more than one child attending Concordia Lutheran College, the second and subsequent children are eligible for a $2,500 discount off tuition and a $2,500 discount off boarding per year. 2 Concordia Lutheran College

The total amount for OSHC must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. Further details on page 6. 4 The Uniform fee is charged annually with any uniform items charged to this account. At the end of the student’s enrolment, any unused uniform fees will be returned to the parent account. 5 Boarding Accommodation fees cover secure accommodation in single gender boarding house, Learning in Residence program, daily meals including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, snack, dinner and supper, laundry and access to medical care. 6 Incidental items include taxi use, airport and domestic bus travel, medical appointments, pharmaceutical requirements, bookshop purchases, uniform sales above uniform levy, consumables for subjects, end of year activities and expenses for voluntary activities. A full outline of these costs is located on page 5. 2 All Year 11 and Year 12 students are charged a Government Moderation Fee through the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA). These fees cover items including certificates, equivalencies, Student Education Profile (SEP), Senior external assessment and Senior external examinations. Boarding Concordia Lutheran College offers onsite boarding for domestic and international students. A Boarding Bond of $300 is charged per student and is only payable by families of boarding students. The Boarding Bond is refunded to the family on the basis that charges & damage, if any, relating to the Boarding House are satisfied. Boarding Boarding includes accommodation, meals, laundry and medical care for students from Years 7 to 12. Boarding inclusions: • Accommodation in single gender boarding house • Daily meals: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, snack, dinner, supper • Laundry is undertaken on a commercial basis and is included in the Annual Boarding fee • Registered nurses in the Health Centre provide medical care for students Full Boarding Fees & Charges Year Level Annual Boarding Annual Incidental Items Boarder Activity Fee Total Annual Fees Years 7-12 $21,486 $2,500 $400 $24,386 Levies and Charges General Purpose Levy Covers the cost of the College Magazine, Grandparent Days, Open Days, Opening and Closing Services, examination booklets, lock hire, student diaries, student accident insurance cover for the whole year, and the difference in the Queensland State Government Book Allowance and the cost of text books provided by the College. Additional Language/Dialect support to students to assist their understanding of the English language is also covered. Capital Levy This levy provides funding for essential facilities and services treated under Australian Taxation as capital expenses. Year Levy Covers local excursions, intercampus bus transfer for College events during school hours, prizes and awards, Arts Council presentations, Visiting Performers and Past Students Association Membership in the case of Year 12 students, and the associated benefits. Computer Devices At Concordia Lutheran College, students in Years 7 to 12 are required to have a computer device for use in the classroom and for homework and assignments. Concordia Lutheran College now has in place a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program. Please refer to our BYOD Handbook for computer specifications and requirements for students accessing this program in 2020 and beyond. Students who commenced on Concordia’s ACER Notebook device program in 2018 or 2019 may have further installments payable in 2020 and 2021. Students who utilised this program will continue to be charged the agreed amount until the device is paid in full. Once the device is paid in full, ownership transfers to the student. Private Tuition & Other Charges Fees for private tuition (e.g. Maths, Science) where requested by families are raised and payable in advance of the semester in which the additional service is provided. Consumables in some subjects such as The Arts and Technology; expenses for voluntary/cocurricular activities and sport; medical expenses, etc. are charged and payable within 14 days of invoice. Year level dinners, celebrations and events will be advertised when confirmed. OSHC – Overseas Student Health Cover The College’s preferred fund is AHM (Australian Health Management) which provides medical cover for the full duration of the student visa. Further information can be found on their website www.ahm.com.au Homestay for Holiday Breaks For families who require their child to remain in Australia during holiday breaks (other than Christmas time), the College can arrange for accommodation with external homestay providers who will raise a separate charge for this service. Outdoor Education Centre Program and Camps Most year levels include camps for students, for varying periods of time and at various sites conducted by external providers who charge for this experience. Families are advised of this information through a number of communications from the College. Attendance at camps is compulsory. Payment of College Fees Fees may be paid in Australian cash, cheque, Bpay, Visa Card, Master Card, EFTPOS, or Internet Banking. Should family accounts fall into arrears outside of these provisions, there may be action taken in relation to the student’s government visa – as well as recovery of charges by collection agents with additional charges being applied to the account. 6 Concordia Lutheran College

Complete the Online Enrolment Application with AUD$100 Application Fee* Go to www.concordia.qld.edu.au to access the Online Enrolment Application *Should more than one child be enrolled at the same time, the Application Fee will be $100 per family 2. Our Registrar will arrange an interview, if distance permits, with the Head of College. Alternatively, our Enrolment Committee will meet to discuss the student’s application and English proficiency 3. Once a placement is offered, a Letter of Offer, Written Agreement and Fee Statement issued. 4. Complete the Enrolment Contract and Student Medical Form, and return to the College 5. CoE issued once signed Written Agreement and TT of funds received by College 6. Once Visa issued, advise College of Visa number and student’s travel arrangements Please phone or email for further information.
