DISCOVER THEIR SWIM POTENTIAL Swim Lessons The Y is a national leader in swim instruction and water safety. The YMCA of Grays Harbor aquatic programs are designed to teach personal water safety and swimming skills to everyone. Our instructors are certified by YMCA swim instruction. Classes arrange swimmers by skill level as swimmers progress through the instruction program. Our progressive swim instruction method uses a problem solving, guided discovery teaching approach in a positive, caring environment. The YMCA of Grays Harbor strives to create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for all swimmers. In addition to teaching swimming skills, our instructors are passionate about creating a positive atmosphere that encourages our students to be courteous, respectful, responsible, and confident individuals and athletes. MAKING WAVES ONE DIVE AT A TIME Springboard Diving GH20 This class teaches beginners the basics of competitive diving. Our personal trainers will help you meet your goals with a customized plan where you’ll learn how to use diet and exercise as a healthy lifestyle change along with encouragement and support from our trained wellness staff throughout the journey. Cost: ½ Session $25 (25 minutes) Cost: 1 Session $40 (50 minutes) Cost: Three Sessions $105 Cost: Eight Sessions $280 Cost: Twelve Sessions $360 WOW (Women on Weights) This program is all about muscle confusion. Each workout will be different so your muscles get the best possible training. This program combines HIIT with strength and cardio. Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30pm-6:30pm May 4th – May 27th Cost: $30 members, $53 program members 100 Class Club Looking for a way to stay motivated in your workout? Join the 100-Class Club. Simply keep track of the classes you attend and record them on the 100 Class Club board in the Aerobics Room. Once you reach 100 classes, you will receive a t-shirt and a personal training session. Cost $10 members only Wallyball This awesome sport adds a new dimension to the exciting game of Volleyball. Wallyball provides the added element of surprise as an ordinary volley can go a whole new direction with spiking the ball off the walls. The sport of Wallyball takes into consideration hand eye coordination, balance, strength, power, and agility. Put your volleyball skills to the test with this quick paced, rapidly growing sport!
