When she applied to OISE, Athena Tassis
recounts, “I had written ‘I want to become an
exceptional educator.’ But having finished my
journey here, I’ve gained and learned so much
    more.”

Athena wants to be a changemaker. In her
time at OISE, she’s become someone who can
think critically about what it means to be a
teacher, and she’s also become more aware of
how she can bring change to the educational
    landscape.

*Note: These tables show the cost of tuition and fees for one year
of study. The minimum cost of a master’s program is based on the
official full-time program length, which is listed on our website.
Completing your program faster than the specified program
length could result in paying a balance of degree fee that rounds
out the minimum cost. Fees in future years may be higher.

‡Since Fall 2018, international OISE PhD students pay domestic
tuition rates. International students are still required to pay UHIP.
This new international tuition structure does not apply to any
other OISE graduate programs.

†Note: International tuition is set at a level that more closely
reflects the true cost of educating students. The Ontario
Government subsidizes domestic tuition with taxpayer funds.
