A constant fixture at Temperley HQ and behind the scenes at fashion shows, Alice says of her son:
'You know, maybe he's in training to run the company one day. He's into lipstick and jewellery and
all sorts of things he probably shouldn't be. He sits in the front row at shows in his superhero outfit
and he just loves it.'

'I hope it's made me approachable and down-to-earth,' she says.

She designs her creations in a tiny mews house in London's Notting Hill, where she set up her
company Temperley London in 2000.

As well as developing her own designs, often bohemian in style, with beaded dresses and bridal wear
themes, she has teamed with with other brands such as Barbour and John Lewis, and has recently
collaborated with Gordon's Gin by designing a range of patterned labels.

Temperley says she is obsessed by all things British, having designed a collection for the Queen's
Coronation Festival in the summer and while working in New York she was nicknamed Little Miss
English.

Why do so many people still insist Kate doesn't have a job? I don't get it? Just because it's not retail?
Especially when she forgets to weight her hems or wear a slip and we get to see how classy she is.
I'm thinking that choice is what makes a modern woman. She has choices and choose what she
wants. And Catherine wanted a prince and went after him and got him. Good for her. I all has its
prices.

Alice's outfit in the first picture is downright scary. You know,I think we're going talking to to have
to accept Kate the way I did my daughter-in-law.My d-i-l isn't who I would have picked but she's here
to stay and she actually isn't all that bad, so I guess I'll have to get used to her. Isn't that about what

Alice, who was awarded the MBE two years ago for services to fashion, works hard, often getting up
at 5am and working overnight and through the weekends to get her work done.

A country that owes its rise to becoming one of the most powerful empires in history,to a queen (
Elizabeth), whose military strategy fended off the Spanish empire,should be ashamed to call Kate
Middleton its queen. She is nothing but a boring housewife, who decks up, follows tradition, and was
bred to breed.
As well as making dress for the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister, Pippa, Alice, 37, counts the
likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Jessica Parker and Keira Knightley among her
customers.
Her childhood, in which she would milk goats before breakfast and simply click the next internet site
ride a horse and cart to school, was 'beautiful, free, properly English,' says Alice. 'Though my world
is extremely different now, I can't imagine not having that lifestyle. I go back whenever I can; it's so
peaceful down there.'
