Mother’s Day Painting Today the children did finger painting for mothers day with miss Aura using nice soft pastel yellow and pink colours. At first some of the children such as Ariana, Amal and Hannah weren't to sure about using their hands to do painting but once they got started they seemed to really enjoy the texture of the paint under their fingers and came up with some great art work for their mums to see. Weixuan, Isabella, Archie and Aria really enjoyed using their fingers to do painting today and got stuck straight into it making some beautiful art for their mums. Written by Miss Aura
Spontaneous Play It’s the start of a brand new exciting week, with Mother’s day present preparations under way doing heaps of arts and crafts activities. Us Jellyfish educators let the children roam the room while each child individually had a go at completing there painting for there mothers day present. To start our morning off we decided to put some music on, of course the first song up was ‘baby shark’……. Olivia, Harvey and Amal were super excited when they heard ‘baby shark’ for the first time copying all the dance moves Miss Zoe was do- ing. Isabella arrived after morning tea this morning, having days off can be extremely overwhelming. But as soon as Isabella saw Hannah she came running over to Hannah and gave her a high-five. Amelia and Ethan have started to build a relationship between one another, today they were both sitting on the carpet hap- pily playing with the magnetic sticks together. After they were finished with the magnetic sticks they found themselves playing peek-a-boo with the inside obstacle. Aria, Weixuan and Archie were happily exploring the room independently finding many toys around the classroom to keep themselves occupied while the others were painting. Ariana was a little overwhelmed playing with the blocks with the other children, but with a little help and guidance from Miss Zoe we eventually saw a happy, cheerful Ariana! Written by Miss Zoe
