Security Measures
Exhibition in Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC)
All Exhibitors and Working Personnel are required to submit their personal details for background
screening by SPF (Form G1). Deadline for submission is 14 Jan 2020. Submissions after this date will
not be accepted;
A security sweep of the exhibition premises will be conducted on 10 Feb;
All persons and vehicles entering the sterile zone in Changi Exhibition Centre from 11 – 16 Feb (Event
Days) will be subjected to 100% security checks;
All persons entering the sterile zone in Marina Bay Sands for the Opening Ceremony on 10 Feb will be
subjected to security checks.

Security Sweep 10 Feb 2020
Security sweep will be conducted in phases.
Area to be swept will be locked down and all persons must vacate the area to be swept,
except identified key holders/flight crew assisting the Police in the sweep.
All persons must leave & vehicles moved to the
Security Sweep General Car Park.
Area

Security Sweep: Non-aircraft
Exhibitors may:
• Appoint a key holder to be present on-site
• Deposit keys that are properly labelled or provide passcodes to
combination locks by 10am on 10 Feb 2020 (Mon) at Event Service Centre
• Allow security forces to gain access into locked areas, if deemed
necessary

Security Sweep: Aircraft
Exhibitors must ensure that:
• Flight crew must be present during
the security sweep to assist in
opening up compartments and locked
areas.
• Confirmation of security clearance
must be signed-off by both Exhibitor
and Police before the flight crew can
leave the site.

Arms & Explosives (A&E) Inspection
A&E Exhibits will be inspected by the Police A&E Branch on 10 Feb.
Exhibitors are required to be present to assist the Police Officers with the
inspections

Some examples such as knife, wine opener, Screwdriver, test pen, scissors, cutter, penknife, Spanner, cable tie, rope, test bulb, test plug, clamp meter, multi meter and etc. Exhibitors who require “Tools of Trade” are advised to leave it in their Stand before the Security Sweep. 54Important Things to Remember There is no access from Changi Coast Road to Airshow site from 10 – 16 Feb 2020. All vehicles with Airshow labels & taxis (except pre-booked taxis) to access via Tanah Merah Coast Road (TMCR) only. Pre-booked Taxis ( ) are only allowed between 7:00pm – 7:00am from 8 Feb - 16 Feb. Private Hire Vehicles (e.g.Grab) are not allowed access to Airshow site at all times from 8 - 16 Feb. Security sweep and A&E inspection will be conducted on 10 Feb. All exhibitors must leave the site, except identified key holder and Flight crew (for static aircraft display participants). Exact timing will be communicated via a separately issued Security Bulletin nearer to the event date. Please submit Form G11 – Emergency Contact by 4 Feb 2020. Service Form G1 (Exhibitors’ Passes) - to submit by deadline 14 Jan 2020 as all data must be submitted to the Police for security background screening.
