Whether it is installing a shed or patio cover, removing or planting a tree, changing the paint color of the house, changing the front door, changing the fence, etc. don’t assume the project will be in compliance. Over the years, amendments to the DCE&R’s (Declaration of Covenants, Easements & Restrictions) have been made and certain criteria are different than what they were originally. Q: For what projects do I need to get written approval from the ACC? A: Sheds, sun rooms, porches, porch roofing, patio/driveway extensions, AVOID THE LINE! paving projects, stone and brick projects, pergolas, arbors, gazebos, green houses, playhouses (non-movable), pools, drainage, retaining walls, fences, roofs, roof vents, landscaping changes (see below), sport courts, basketball goals, exterior painting and staining, additions/modifications to the residence and most other non-temporary changes to a lot or residence. This is the 11th year Active Seniors have sponsored this event and on December 2nd, 16 members met at the Clubhouse to sort, count and deliver the donated food items to the Community Storehouse. This year we delivered 1,405 food items which were used to fill over 1,200 Christmas boxes. The donations from the Heritage resi- dents were greatly appreciated and once again we have proven what a generous and caring community Heritage truly is.
