           Description
Tawney’s Cave is a perfect beginner
cave. There is mud, an active stream,
breakdown mountains, exposure,
walking passage to belly-crawls, mud,
saltpeter diggings, a maze, a pit, mud,
pretty speleothems, slippery mud
slopes, fossils, salamanders, and if it
hasn’t rained for a while, big cracks in
the drying mud. There is about 3,500
feet of passage in the cave.
