Just a friendly reminder to have fees sorted by January 31 so one does not incur a late payment penalty fee of 3% on February 1. GATE CREDENTIALS TROUBLESHOOTING If you have paid your encumbrance fees and you are still having trouble accessing the gates please check the following; • Do you still have an “old” card? It will look similar to this If you do, you will need to download the new credentials, or come into the office to access a new card. • If your new credentials, or card still do not work, try following
the steps on the “Gate Credentials Troubleshooting” page and if they still do not work please call the office for support. • If you did not receive a new credential, or have deleted it by accident, please follow the steps in “Gate Credentials Troubleshooting.” If your app, or card still does not work please call or come to the main office for support. Gate Credentials Troubleshooting If you are yet to download your credential app please follow these steps; 1. Download the “Protégé Mobile” app within your app store – this will be seen as a red icon with “ICT” written inside, 2. Enter the email address you use for the HOA Ivrnet system as the username, 3. Click “Forgot Password” to reset your password, 4. And then open your app. 5. Follow app prompts to complete your credentials set up. If you have issues opening the gates please follow the following instructions. Look at “Bluetooth” and make sure this is on (see screenshot). We do recommend switching off the “shake to unlock” option, and also move the slider all the way across to “Far”. If you credential still does not work please call the main office at 403-453-1221 so we can check if everything is working on our end for you.

MAHOGANY SNOW REMOVAL Who is responsible for pathway snow removal in Mahogany? Resident: marked BLUE Residents are responsible for snow removal of any public pathways (including cycle pathways) that fronts their property line or runs adjacent to the side of their property line. Please see the City of Calgary snow clearing bylaw for further details. The bylaw gives property owners/occupants 24 hours after a snowfall ends to clear snow and ice from the sidewalks bordering their property. https://www.calgary.ca/csps/abs/bylaws-by-topic/snow-ice.html Mahogany Homeowners Association: marked GREEN Like residents, the MHOA is responsible for the clearing of any pathways that border the MHOA property (or pathways the have the tall black metal fence adjacent to them). The MHOA also has a snow clearing contract with the City of Calgary to clear the Wetlands Pathways and the Promenade. These pathways are cleared to the street pathway and does not include street residential Wetlands access pathways between homes. City of Calgary: marked RED The City of Calgary is responsible for the clearing of all pathways bordering City lands and spaces. Pathways that residential properties are facing or the side of the property is bordering on too. For example, Mahogany Boulevard near West Beach is cleared by the City of Calgary. With these Boulevards, the City will only clear one side of the boulevard in this case it is the North side. It is a cost saving measure on the City of Calgary’s behalf.
