Welcome Message It is a privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the Joint Scientific Assembly 2021 of two Associations of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics ( IUGG), International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (IAGA) and International Association of Seismology and Physics of the Earth’s Interior (IASPEI), which is being hosted by CSIR- National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Hyderabad under the auspices of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi, the National Adhering Body of IUGG. The meeting would also be supported by other Earth science institutes of Department of Science &Technology (DST), Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES). It is indeed a remarkable scientific event where leading researchers and academics, working in the field of Seismology, Geomagnetism, Earth's interior, Aeronomy, and allied branches will be gathering from all around the globe to share their knowledge and experience. Along with scientific sessions, this enriching event also provides an occasion for field trips, workshops, and short excursions. India is a vast country with unique geographical and cultural diversities and often referred to as 'UNITY IN DIVERSITY'. The Joint Scientific Assembly is being held in South- central city of Hyderabad, which offers a special opportunity to witness a lifetime experience of cultural and historic heritage of India. On behalf of the Indian geoscience community, I cordially welcome you for exciting scientific sessions of the assembly while savouring the Nizami (royal) cuisine and comfortable stay at Hyderabad. I am sure the events of IUGG – IAGA, IASPEI scientific assembly will forge scientific cooperation among the researchers across the world, which ultimately shall lead to the betterment of mankind and society. Venue Hyderabad International Convention Centre Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad, is a state-of-the-art convention facility. HICC in every aspect, be it infrastructure, services or technology, compares with the best in the world. It has an internal hall measuring 6,480 sq m, which can be partitioned into six smaller halls. Accompanying person will be offered guided tour to historical places of Hyderabad. A non - refundable abstract submission fee of US$ 20 will be charged for each abstract per author.
