Scheme update
We’re pleased to announce that our proposals
for a road improvement scheme on the A30
between Chiverton and Carland Cross have now
been accepted by the Planning Inspectorate
for formal examination. This is an important
milestone for the scheme as it signifies a huge
step towards delivering improvements that will
transform connectivity across Cornwall, while
reducing congestion, improving safety and
boosting the regional economy.

We’ve produced a short summary of the key
themes raised at our consultation earlier this year
and our final proposals. You can view this on our
scheme webpage at
www.highwaysengland.co.uk/A30Chiverton

We’ll also be holding a public drop-in event on
23 October at Truro College, from 2pm till 8pm
where you’ll be able to view the documents that
we submitted as part of our application to the
Planning Inspectorate. You’ll also be able to meet
the project team who will be on hand to explain
the final proposals.
