Future projects • Continuous provision of legal literature o The keyword commentary for Esports Law will be accessible via Beck-Online to every German court and thus provide elementary support for jurisdiction in an area of legal expertise that is highly significant in economic terms yet still unknown (to many judges). • Driving forward the legal discourse through further conferences, publications, lectures and workshops • Expanding the range of courses at the Faculty of Law of the University of Augsburg o There is no specialization at the Faculty of Law of the University of Augsburg that focuses specifically on the legal implications of digitalization. If such a specialization were to be created, esports would be particularly suitable as an object of study and illustration. It is a very diverse industry with a large number of participants in need of special protection as they are operating in virtual worlds due to digitalization. • Advising politicians on legislative projects o In contrast to the associations of traditional sports as well as esports/gaming, the FeSR works neutrally, objectively and independently. It can advise politicians in many different aspects with regard to possible legislative projects. o Drafting of legal expert opinion • Drafting of standard contracts Augsburg, October 2020
