2018 racing season
Inauguration of the new ParisLongchamp racecourse. After Work “Jeuxdi by Paris
Longchamp”, Sunday Racing, Prix de Diane Longines, Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe,
activities, concerts and restaurants, the Parisian racecourses will surprise you this year. It is
time to book your tickets!

Following two years of construction, the new
ParisLongchamp racecourse will be inaugurated
on the 29th of April 2018. PRESS CONFERENCE PARISLONGCHAMP ON
THURSDAY 22nd OF MARCH 2018
Designed by architect Dominique Perrault, this With Edouard de Rothschild, President of France Galop
historic racecourse, nestled in the heart of the and Dominique Perrault, the architect of ParisLongchamp.
Bois de Boulogne, has taken on the challenge of
breaking with the traditional racecourse model and will now be open all year round.
The ambition is to transform ParisLongchamp into a major sport and leisure destination that
will figure high on the agenda of trendy things to do in Paris. ParisLongchamp wishes to
provide Parisians, who are always looking for new places to discover, with a venue where
they can go with friends or family to eat and party during the day and long into the night, in
a festive and summery ambiance, surrounded by greenery.
ParisLongchamp is going to be open all year round for horse racing, leisure activities, cultural
events, concerts, a wide range of culinary offers.
For its first season, the ParisLongchamp racecourse will hold 34 race meetings
(against 34 in 2015) which include no less than 10 days of the highest level of racing. For
example, a racing event has been created around the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp on
Sunday 9th of September 2018.

ParisLongchamp, the new venue for your Thursday evenings after work!
Thursday in French is Jeudi, but at ParisLongchamp, it is Jeuxdi by ParisLongchamp! On
thursdays, racing will transform into an open-air festival, with food & drinks, live concerts
and DJs creating a festive and trendy atmosphere. To book your tickets for these new events

The greatest race in the world returns to ParisLongchamp
The 2018 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe promises to be an outstanding event. Following
two editions at Chantilly, the greatest race in the world returns to the ParisLongchamp
racecourse.
The Arc is the greatest horserace in the world and it takes place every year in France! The
Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe attracts the best horses that come from countries like Japan,
England, Ireland and Germany, to take on the French champions on the legendary track at
ParisLongchamp.
Over the course of the weekend, the new stands will be packed with more than 70 000
spectators. About a third of them will come from across the Channel and it is highly
recommended to book tickets in advance for the greatest sporting challenge in the world of
racing, which takes place on Sunday 7th of October at ParisLongchamp!
More highlights at France Galop racecourses in 2018
All the kids are invited!
Kids are our VIPs and hence the entrance to our
racecourses is free for under 18s. Sunday Racing,
which runs from 18th of March to 27th of May at
Auteuil and ParisLongchamp, is very much appreciated
by families who enjoy the unique combination of
horse racing and multiple activities for the little ones.
Prix de Diane Longines, the most fashionable event and an absolute must!
Everybody is at Chantilly on the 17th of June for the 168th edition of the Prix de Diane
Longines, a day filled with racing, music, a competition of elegance and fashionable picnics
that takes place in the most exceptional setting and bucolic atmosphere.
The Grand Steeple Chase of Paris
Adrenalin and extreme sports is
on the card at the Auteuil
racecourse on 20th of May with a
new edition of the Grand Steeple
Chase de Paris.
