IGNITE 2021 INFORMATION LETTER Congratulations on registering for IGNITE 2021. We’re looking forward to five of the best days of summer. The following information should help you prepare for the days you have registered. LOCATION: Due to our church building undergoing redevelopment, our friends at the local Jannali Uniting Church have generously allowed us to meet in their building during Ignite. All days will therefore begin and end at the Jannali Uniting Church, 527 Box Road, Jannali. Entrance is from the car park behind the shops. COVID SAFETY - Good hygiene practices will be in place with hand sanitiser available. - Leaders will continue to maintain 1.5m social distancing from each other and from youth. However, youth are not required to do so from each other when at IGNITE. - We will be venturing into public spaces on various days and in some locations everyone will be asked to have a face mask with them. We know that those who are 12 and under are not required to wear face masks. However, to prevent distinction between those who are already 13 and those who aren’t, we have decided to include everyone in the wearing of face masks. The information for each day will indicate when this is the case. The following people must remain at home: - Anyone feeling unwell or showing indications of flu like symptoms or who has been in con- tact with persons diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 14 days. - Anyone who is awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test or who has been in close contact with someone awaiting results of a Covid-19 test. - Anyone who has visited a Covid-19 hotspot in the last 14 days, as listed on the NSW Health website. If you begin to feel sick while at one of our gatherings please notify a leader immediately. UPDATES: Please keep an eye on JAC Youth on Facebook for the latest information and photos. We will try to maintain daily updates for you. You don’t need to have a Facebook profile to view this page. Just Google JAC Youth and it will be high on the list. BUCKET HATS: Each student registered for the full package, as well as those who purchased one separately when registering, will receive a JAC Youth Bucket Hat on their first day. If you haven’t ordered a Bucket Hat, but would like to purchase one, they will be $10 each. Students are also encouraged to bring their own (clearly identified) water bottle each day. Should you have any further questions then please contact me. Cameron Hyslop Youth Minister Jannali Anglican Church 85 Wattle Road, Jannali NSW 2226 T 9528 9130 M 0417 415 027 W JAC Youth on Facebook
