Premise: Lucy, the Character from the book, gathers the children interested in going on an adventure to Narnia. Lucy
will act like a tour guide through out this adventure. She explains to them that the White Witch has captured Edmund
and that Susan and Peter are ahead on a mission to rescue him.
Traveling through the Wardrobe: The children follow Lucy to a Door at camp that leads outside. If possible place a
rack of clothes in front of the door so that it appears like everyone is traveling through the wardrobe. On the other
side of the door is a tree that has a cardboard cut out of a lamp post stapled or strung to it. Once through the door
the campers and Lucy are greeted by Mr. Tumnus. SUPPLIES

Tea with Mr. Tumnus: Mr. Tumnus is delighted to see the Lucy and the campers, he invites you over for a quick cup of - Costumes
tea. Mr. Tumnus is working for the White Witch and intends to hand Lucy and the campers over to her. As he talks his - Cardboard Door
heart melts. He now wants to help Lucy. He fills the campers in on the latest news in Narnia and an understanding - Coats and Hangers

The Battle against the White Witch: Right around the corner they see their first wolf. Campers attack and more
wolves come out of the trees and other hiding places. Before all of the wolves are defeated the White Which arrives
with Peter Susan and Edmund tied up in her Sleigh (a wagon, wheelbarrow or golf cart). The campers and Lucy try
to defeat the White Witch but it soon becomes apparent that they are too powerful! At this point Lucy runs over to
Susan to try and grab the a horn while the White Witch is distracted. After succeeding she blows the horn to try tell
Aslan of their danger.
Aslan Arrives: Soon after the horn blows Aslan arrives. He is vicious and simply bats away the wolves. He, with
the campers help, engages in an epic battle with the White Witch. The battle ends when Aslan Banishes the White
Which into the woods and the White Which drives off terrified into the forest. The Campers rejoice with the rest of
characters and they celebrate! Then say good bye to Aslan as they walk back to camp.
Variation: Depending on the kids interested in the Narnia Adventure, you can scale the project up or down. It should
be noted that when we created Narnia this summer we employed the LIT’s to be the characters and the creators of
props and the setting. Again the LIT’s felt so empowered to fulfill the dream of traveling to Narnia, they went above
