Hello friend -
As my sister Ana and I tap away on the com-
puter keyboard, Chicago has had three snow-
falls in a row, and has now plunged
into a deep freeze. I cannot tell you how grate-
ful we are to be safe and warm at the shelter.
How appropriate that we are named after the
heroines of the Disney film “Frozen,” Ana and
Elsa of Arendelle.
We first were taken to Chicago Animal Care and Control who discovered that Ana had broken
her pelvis while very tiny. Then Harmony House heard about us and agreed to transfer us to their
shelter and be sure Ana got all the treatment she needed. For one month, Ana needed to be on
cage rest and let her body heal. That is very hard for a bouncy kitten who wants to run and play,
so I kept her company and snuggled with her all the time. A consultation with an orthopedic special-
ist revealed that Ana would not need surgery, so now we are looking for a special person
in search of two furry princesses. Maybe that is you?
Please make a gift for our vet bills, and to care for the next injured cat or kitten in need. It is because
of you that Harmony House can rescue stray cats, provide them with veterinary care to recover, and
place each of them in loving homes. Your gift will be put to immediate use to pay emergency vet bills,
spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, microchips, food, and litter. Your generosity keeps the shelter
doors open for more cats in desperate need of rescue.

Apple Blossom Online Auction
Harmony House is holding an Online Auction in April. It is the purr-
fect time to shop for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduations and
Weddings. Mark your calendar so you do not miss this fabulous event.
The auction runs Saturday, April 17th through Sunday, April 25th.
Artwork, gift baskets, home décor, jewelry and purses, pet accessories,
collectibles, gift cards and more! Bid from the comfort of your own
home. Winning bidders will pay by credit card through the auction
website and pick up their items at Harmony House in person.
Dates and hours for pickups will be listed on the auction website.

I adopted Sunfern from y’all and thought I would send some
pictures of how she’s been doing.
She has definitely gained her confidence in parts of the house
and loves sitting by the window! Also loves making biscuits on
her pink floor pillow. Just wanna say thanks again for such an
easy and welcoming adoption process! This little one is quickly
becoming my best friend.

Corndog continues to be the very best cat anyone could ask
for. He is busy living his best kitty life, chasing after bouncy balls,
and causing just the right amount of trouble. His favorite nap-
ping spot is wherever the heated blanket is, and his favorite
game is divebomb-mom-from-top-of-the-cat-tree.

I just wanted to
send a quick message to say Happy New
Year to Harmony House and to thank
the staff for all their help in adopting our
little Jack (formerly known as Spaghetti
Baby). He’s really starting
to settle into his forever home, and he
loves his new brothers! Thanks again!
