Vaccine team rises deliver the Covid vaccination. Initially, the programme focused on vaccinating staff but the guidance changed a couple of days to the challenge before the hub opened, to include over-80s residents from the local area and care home staff. One of the biggest challenges in the early stages was to identify a suitable space that was large enough to vaccinate several hundred people daily, with room to socially distance and a separate area for patients to wait for 15 minutes after their vaccination.
