HOHA’s Candy Hunt Successful By Stacy Jolley In my 19 years of coordinating the Harvey Oaks Spring Candy Hunt, we’ve seen all kinds of weather, but never one as windy as this! But gale-force winds couldn’t stop 75 kids from enjoying the warm weather and plentiful treats. The annual candy hunt was held on Saturday, April 23. And when the kids were done hunting candy, many families indulged in a treat from the Kona Ice truck. A huge thank you goes to my right-hand woman, Makenna Jolley! Thank you to my other “hiders”: Jay Jolley, Fred and Marilyn Lovelace, and Sharon Fabry. Thank you also to Carol Feelhaver and Traci Selby for checking in families for the event. But most of all, thank you to all the families who were already members or who joined HOHA that day; that’s what makes fun events like this possible. And when I drove past the park about 30 minutes later, there were still a half dozen families sitting and chatting and playing at the park. These are the moments that help make Harvey Oaks great! Editor’s Note: The final thank you for this event goes to Stacy Jolley. She has chaired this event for 19 years and each year gets better and better. Thanks again Stacy, the neighborhood will be back next year. 1 BRYAN O’HARA Owner 402.332.8798 FAMILY FARE BRAND GUIDELINES - quick glance Omaha@AllDogsUnleashed.com PRIMARY LOGO AllDogsUnleashed.com/Omaha Professional Dog Training KEEPING IT REAL BADGE FAT FRANK WITH 140 TRACKING CENTERED WITHIN CIRCLE WHILE TAKING ACCENT WORD SPACE INTO CONSIDERATION ALWAYS THE SAME COLOR AS THE CIRCLE.
