Special Events Memorial Day Service The Blue Star Mothers Memorial Day Service will be conducted in honor of all those from Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff who gave their lives in service to their country. Special Events Grandview Hop Grandview Avenue’s summertime sidewalk market and evening stroll is back and planning for a great summer – including FOUR Saturdays! All are free to attend and open to all ages. The Hop takes place along Grandview Avenue between 1st and 5th Avenues, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the last Saturday of each month during the summer. Garden Program Let’s grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers in one of the oldest Victory Gardens in Central Ohio! We will grow a variety of plants such as tomatoes, squash, beans, basil, and zinnias. Participants will learn the basic of gardening while playing games, making crafts, and sampling our edibles. Everyone will keep a journal to record our progress. We will meet twice a week for activities and tending the garden.
