flagship event for Global Business Week 2021. We are once
again staging it over three days, with technical workshops
on the last day.

This year, our highly enjoyable heart-healthy event will be virtual
for the 2nd time. On the day of the virtual 5K, individuals or small
teams will be encouraged to participate in a brisk 5-kilometre
walk, run or cycle, either in the fresh air, or on treadmills or
stationary bikes from the comfort of their homes.
Participants will be required to log their exercise using the fitness
application STRAVA. Friendly competition is encouraged shared
and promoted through social media. We invite participants
to share photos of themselves or groups along the way to win
amazing prizes from sponsors. This event is dedicated toward
raising contributions for the BIBA Charity Fund, which is geared
toward supporting the public healthcare system of Barbados.
The BIBA Charity continues to support the national COVID-19

22SPONSORSHIP
AGREEMENT
The undersigned hereby agrees to be a sponsor (“Sponsor”) of Global Business Week 2021 (GBW 2021) at the sponsorship levels as indicated
above.
The Sponsor shall provide monetary compensation in the amount as set forth for the sponsorship type chosen by the Sponsor.
It is understood that this sponsorship agreement represents a legally binding obligation of the Sponsor and that Barbados International
Business Association, Inc. (“BIBA”), is relying on the Sponsor to provide the cash payments as set forth for the sponsorship levels indicated
below.
Payment: Payment must be received no later than 10 business days from the date the Sponsor’s offer is accepted by BIBA, or at least one
calendar month prior to the event, whichever is sooner, in order to guarantee the Sponsor’s association with Global Business Week 2021.
Substitutions/Cancellations: Any cancellation must be received in writing at least 28 days prior to the commencement of the event. A
cancellation fee of 20% will be incurred on all cancellations received after this time. After this date, we regret cancellations cannot be accepted
and sponsors will be liable for payment of 100% of the committed amount. Where payment has already been made, no refund will be given.
Important notes: This sponsorship form constitutes a legally binding contract between BIBA and the Sponsor. It may be necessary for reasons
beyond the control of BIBA to make changes to the programme of events for GBW 2021, including (without limitation) changes to the content
and timing of an event, the speakers and the date, or a venue. BIBA will use its reasonable endeavors to keep the Sponsor affected by such
changes notified. In the unlikely occurrence of the Sponsor’s event being cancelled, BIBA will either refund the Sponsor’s fee or credit it forward
to the same or comparable event in Global Business Week 2022 but disclaims any further liability and will not be responsible for any direct or
indirect losses howsoever caused.
