to show up.
Girls will receive their DOC Welcome Email on December 23. The welcome email goes to the
email we have on file for the girl’s membership.
• If a girl does not receive their welcome email, please see the instructions on the Cookie
Resources tab under Digital Cookie (upon DOC activation)
Once girls have access, they can set up their site and get their emails ready to go!
All links for the DOC will be active on January 3rd!

Girl Requirements

Girl Reward

We have a tool that will estimate the number of packages to order. • If you are a new troop, you will need to come up with your cookie plan by hosting a troop cookie meeting with girls and caregivers. • What is your troop cookie goal? • How many booths do you plan to have? • Ask your girls what their cookie goals are and plan accordingly. • Example- Your troop has 10 girls and each girl plans on selling 100 packages each. That would be a troop goal of 1000 packages. 70% of that would 700 packages for your initial order.
Initial Order Worksheet
Little Brownie is helping troops with what they should order for their
troop initial order. This tool can be found on the Cookie Resources tab
under What’s New. All you have to do is put in your troop number
(leading zeros) and the number of girls selling and the worksheet does the
rest for you!
*Reminder: Initial Order is in full case amounts, this does not show the round up amount
of packages to make a full case.Cookie Mix Calculator for Girl We have also come up with this girl calculator. If a girl says they will sell 500 packages, this tool will show you what variety of cookies they will need.
How to handle IO Cookies once they arrive
Once cookies arrive, troops have a few options on how to handle their initial order. Help your troops decide what is
best for them and their girls.
1. Distribute all the cookies to the girls right away so they can start selling to new and existing customers.
a. Lemonade stands, walkabouts, caregiver workplace, girl delivery.
2. Distribute cookies, as needed, to the girls.
a. Ex. Filling DOC girl delivery orders. Girls/caregivers will come to you with online orders that need filled
ASAP.
b. Try a once a week or every other week pickup schedule, if you need structure.
3. Start selling as a troop!
a. Traditional booth sales, drive thru booths, troop virtual booths!
b. As a troop, you can even do walkabouts.
These are just a few ideas to share with your troops.
*This is when filling out receipts and keeping accurate record in eBudde is crucial!*
Signed receipts for money and cookies will transfer the financial responsibility from the troop to
the girl/caregiver! If cookies leave the hands of the troop in good condition, the girl/caregiver will
be responsible for any damages.Signed Permission and Responsibility Forms
• Every troop leader/cookie manager who participates in the Cookie Program must fill out a Troop Product Manager
Responsibility form.
• If the troop leader/product manager is also a caregiver, you can fill out the girl permission form from the TPM link. There is no
need to fill out both links.
• TPM Form: https://bit.ly/tpmform
• Every girl who participates in the Cookie Program must have a Girl/Caregiver Permission form filled out.
• Girl/Caregiver Form: https://bit.ly/girlcaregiver
• If problems arise with payment of cookies and the girl does not have a form on file, it will be the troop’s responsibility to cover
the cost. Without the permission form and appropriate receipts, Council cannot pursue the collections process at the
girl/caregiver level.
• A weekly report is sent out to your SUPM of signed forms. Please check with them to make sure your troop has all
forms signed.
• The links will only work correctly if you share them exactly as they are shown above. Sharing the actual link will
result in errors.
• You can also find the links to the forms on our website under Cookie Resources>Forms and Council ResourcesService Unit Cookie Delivery

Red Wagon Weekends Feb 4-13
Pile up cookies in your wagon and sell directly to customers!
Door to Door sales remain one of the most effective ways to sell cookies. In a recent national study, 78%
of those customers who were not approached during a cookie sale stated they would have purchased 2-4
boxes, if asked.
Red Wagon Weekends was designed to reach those customers and help girls achieve their cookie goal.
WOW Your Wheels Contest
• Grab your wagon (or any items with wheels) and start decorating. Make sure to
include a sign or banner with your cookie goal! Next, map out your neighborhood and
load up the cookies!!
• Take a picture of your wheels and submit the list of girls participating to the Wow your
wheels Wufoo form by February 15.
• Each girl will receive a special patch and the Wow your Wheels picture will be
uploaded to Leaders Lounge for a photo contest.

CONFIDENTIAL & PROPRIETARYCookie Booth Guidelines • Two unrelated adults must be present at booths. One must be registered and have a background check. • At least two registered girls from the same troop must be present at one single booth location. • Troops are required to stay within jurisdiction when scheduling booths. If you would like to hold a booth in a different service unit, please have your service unit cookie manager get permission from the other service unit cookie manager first. • This is your opportunity to shine in the community! Girl Scouts should have fun, smile, be polite, and demonstrate their amazing people skills. Other than water (stay hydrated!), do not bring food or drinks to your booths. Girls should be on their best behavior-no running, yelling, or horsing around. Instead, greet customers, be present, and maybe even makeup a cookie season jingle. Encourage girls to make eye contact with customers-this demonstrates courage and confidence, and prepares girls to be lifelong leaders. • Work with your troop to decide what booth system works best for you and communicate that to your caregivers. We recommend dividing booth times into shifts according to what is appropriate for your troop.
Cookie Booth Guidelines
• Service units can set up booths for every troop to have a chance to sell at or Troops can
find locations on their own. All booth locations should be put into eBudde under the
Booth Site Tab for approvals.
• Check with your SUPM to see if there are any booth locations they manage for the service unit before
reaching out to a business at the troop level. Ie. Bigger locations such as Walmart
• Please check-in with store managers EVERY TIME you arrive at the
location.
• Follow any guidelines that are set forth by management at the cookie booth location and
Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois. This is KEY to maintaining relationships with these
important partners.
• Be PREPARED and ON TIME to your booth reservation. If you cannot make your
scheduled time, please be fair to your fellow Girl Scout sisters and release your time slot
on eBudde so another troop may have an opportunity.Drive Thru Cookie Booths
Your Service Unit is hosting a Drive thru
booth during the National Girl Scout
Cookie Weekend is Feb 18-20.

then flow over to eBudde.
• We are no longer using the Clover Go credit card service. GSUSA will
no longer be having a partnership with them.
• Cash
• Checks
• We recommend not to accept checks from people you do not know.
• Troops should look into having Check Redi put on their troop bank
account. Check with your CEM or our website for more
information.Cookie Debt
We are streamlining this process.
• Two weeks after the final ACH payment, council will send out certified letters to everyone
with a debt. The debtors will have three weeks to make good on the payment. After this
three week time period, if anything is unpaid, the debt will be turned over either to the
States Attorney’s Office, GSofSI Attorney, Collection agency or Police department.
• We will NO longer accept any payment plans.
• Troops are RESPONSIBLE for all money due from their product sales. Troops will be held
liable for the funds due only if the appropriate paperwork is not collected from the
parent/guardian (ex. signed receipts and permission slips).
• Turning in the collection form with appropriate documentation keeps the responsibility of
payment with the parent/guardian.
• It is important to keep the Girl Order tab in eBudde up-to-date with any cookie
sales/payments for each girl.
Cookie Money Tips
• Go to the bank often, daily/weekly, depending on when money is turned into you.
• Use your receipt book to keep a paper trail of cookies and money exchanges.
• Keep copies!
• Make sure all girls participating have a signed permission form on file.Juliette and GSofSI Website Information
