OBJECTIVES
The general objective of the course is to provide the theoretical-technical knowledge and update the
latest developments in prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction and genital reconstruction from the
leading national and international experts in this field.
The specific objectives are:
Prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence (Workshop):
selecting the candidate patients for each implant, choosing the most appropriate type of
prosthesis, performing basic surgical steps for their implantation, and resolving potential
complications.
Urogenital reconstructive surgery: participate in the round tables and presentations on
the surgical management of Peyronie’s disease and on the management of urethral stricture
with the leaders in the field.
Sex reassignment surgery: participate and interact in the round table surgical updates of
the principal techniques of sex reassignment surgery with the leading national and international
experts in vaginoplasty, metoidioplasty and phalloplasty.
Live surgery: Visualise and interact in 4 live surgeries of prosthetic and reconstructive
genitourinary surgery performed by the leaders in each field.
