MARC DUDZIK
My name is Marc Dudzik and I have lived in San Diego for over 45 years. I am a commercial real estate agent,
but I also love to volunteer my time in the community with various organizations. I have been in commercial
real estate for over 30 years and I have been with the same company for 27 of those 30 years. I will make the
same long-term commitment to Frontwave Credit Union members and the other Board members if elected.
I have been a member of credit unions for over 35 years and when I heard that a position on the Board was
available, a passion grew within me that led me to apply, believing that I can bring valuable knowledge and
experience to the Board and its members. Every day in my profession, I listen to my client’s specific needs,
challenges and desires and look forward to being able to help them achieve their objectives. Many times, I
must look outside of the box and get creative to achieve that result for them. I think this is the very fact that
makes me a highly qualified candidate for a Board member.
Secondly, in working with many different types of businesses, and helping them on a daily basis, exposes
me to a lot of new ideas that can be shared with the Board members. I believe that these experiences, and
my strong work ethic, have prepared me to be a Board member that can bring value to Frontwave and its
members.
I am grateful for your consideration to be elected as one of your Board members, and if elected, my desire
is to serve you to my fullest ability.

JOSHUA JACOBS
I enlisted in April of 2007 and deployed twice before reaching three years of service. In 2009, I served as
the Supply Chief for 1/5 (1st Battalion, 5th Marines) during our deployment to Afghanistan despite only
two years of service and holding the rank of Corporal – where I built and managed the infantry battalion’s
~$120M supply account. Honorably discharged, I immediately enrolled at USC where I earned a B.S. in
Business Administration and a Master of Accounting degree. I was elected President of the USC Veterans
Association and later served as the organization’s Executive Advisor. Successful initiatives under my tenure
included veteran priority registration; unlimited undergraduate Yellow Ribbon scholarships; and establishing
a Veterans Resource Center.
After graduation, I joined PwC as a member of their M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Advisory practice and
worked on numerous high-profile deals across multiple industry sectors for 5+ years. In 2019, I left PwC
to become the VP of Finance for a global leader in video surveillance solutions and directly supported its
successful sale to a large, publicly held company the following year.
Most importantly though, I am the husband of an amazing woman and the father of a precocious toddler
who is already growing up too quickly. I currently hold one other board position with USC’s Leventhal School
of Accounting and welcome the opportunity to serve Frontwave’s membership with similar passion and
engagement.
Candidate Statement: As a member of Frontwave Credit Union since 2007 – when I first stepped onto
the famous “yellow footprints” – it is an honor to be a candidate for your consideration in the 2021 Board
of Directors election. As an enlisted Marine who became a Trojan; a PwC alumnus who serviced multiple
Fortune 500 companies; and now the VP of Finance for a global leader in the video security space; I hope
to bring a unique perspective to the Board of Directors. What excites me the most is the opportunity to give
back in a way that is personally meaningful, as this position intersects so many cherished life experiences
and the communities in which I intend to continue serving.

MICHAEL McCARTHY
Mr. Michael McCarthy has been a member of Frontwave Credit Union since February 2011 when he graduated
from Marine Corps Recruit Depot – San Diego. After four years of active duty, Mike relocated to his home
state of Illinois and earned a BA in political science, an MBA in finance, and an MS in accounting. He resides
in Chicago, Illinois full time and works in the Cook County budget office primarily managing the county’s $2.2
billion Medicaid program. Mike continues to use Frontwave Credit Union because of the convenience and
outstanding service.
Mike is running for election the Board of Directors because his experience in financial management, financial
markets, and government regulation will be beneficial to Members. He would bring energy and enthusiasm
to discussions with management about our strategic direction. Frontwave faces the enviable opportunity of
growing beyond its current state, but expansion just for the sake of expansion is not necessarily a good use
of resources. Any decision to stretch Frontwave operations must consider Member priorities. Mike would
emphasize listening to Members, balancing interests, and always keep the question “How will this make
Members of Frontwave better off?” at the front of any debate over ideas.
Transparency, education of employees and Members, and cooperation would be the themes of Mike’s tenure
on the Board of Directors. Sharing information is not effective if people cannot understand it and working
together will provide greater returns for Frontwave Members.

“This is when you give back. Like many of Frontwave’s members, I take great pride in my military service, as
well as the executive management experience earned providing technology services to both the public and
private sectors” stated Mr. Shute. “This combination of industry experience and desire to help Frontwave

KIT J. GARDNER
I am pleased to run for one of the seats on the Supervisory Committee of Frontwave Credit Union. I have
already served for approximately three years on the Committee, and am therefore very familiar with its
function, goals, and duties.
I am a lawyer with more than 25 years of experience working with businesses and financial institutions.
During my career, I have represented many banks and credit unions, published many articles, and sat
on various boards and committees. You can read more about my legal education and experience at
www.gardnerlegal.com.
I have also worked for many years in the credit union movement, including in leadership roles. For example,
from 2012 to 2017, I served on the Board of Directors of another local credit union, North Island Credit Union.
For two of those years, I served as its Vice-Chairman as we completed many initiatives, including a complex
merger with another credit union. In addition, I have advocated in Washington D.C. and Sacramento for
changes in laws and regulations that benefit credit unions nationally and statewide. Finally, I have successfully
completed credit union volunteer training at the distinguished Credit Union Executive Society’s (CUES)
Governance Leadership Institute.
If elected, I will continue to bring my experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to Frontwave’s Supervisory
Committee, where I will proudly continue to assist the Committee in helping ensure the safety and soundness
of our credit union.

ADAM GRAJEWSKI
I am a corporate attorney and former Marine currently residing in Crown Point. After enlisting in the Marine
Corps from my home state of Michigan, I knew I had found my new home upon reporting to San Diego for
my first assignment. I was fortunate to remain stationed in Camp Pendleton during my five years of active
duty. Fast forward eleven years from the beginning of my Marine Corps journey and there is still nowhere
else I would rather live.
My MOS (military occupational specialty) in the Marine Corps was 1371 – Combat Engineer. I deployed on
a Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and separately in support of Operation
Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. I was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds suffered in combat in Afghanistan.
I decided I would leave the Marine Corps at the end of my enlistment to finish my education. I used the GI
Bill to finish my bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University and my juris doctor degree at Georgetown
University Law Center. Today, I help companies and financial institutions of all sizes accomplish their business
goals. My law firm, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, is in Carmel Valley.
In my free time, I love hiking and enjoying the outdoors with my two rescue dogs. You can find me in every
corner of San Diego County searching for the best food and most exciting new restaurants.
Candidate Statement: I have been with Frontwave Credit Union since 2009. I have used and benefited from
a number of its products and services. I have seen that, in many cases, Frontwave is the first relationship
with a financial institution a young Marine will have. For this reason, Frontwave has a great responsibility to
provide dynamic and high-quality products and services to our nation’s warrior class. This should be seen
as both a duty and an opportunity. As someone who has been in the shoes of those young Marines and
now stands as a proud member of the San Diego business community, I am especially qualified to help lead
Frontwave into the future.

WILLIAM HART
I am William Hart, candidate for a position on the Supervisory Committee. I am a Certified Public Accountant
and have over 15 years experience in Finance and Accounting. I started my career as an auditor performing
contract audit services for Credit Union Supervisory Committees. While that was over 30 years ago, I
believe that this experience has provided me with a good background on the purpose of the Credit Union’s
Supervisory Committee.
About 15 years ago, I moved from Finance and Accounting to Information Technology; I am currently a
Product Manager for software designed specifically for the unique needs of Food Banks. I graduated from
California State University San Bernandino with a degree in Public Accounting and after living in several
other states, we returned to California about 8 years ago. We have four cats and love living in Yucca Valley.
I believe that Credit Unions exist to serve their members and the Supervisory Committee is a critical component
in assuring members that they can trust the Credit Union with their finances. As a member of the Frontwave
Supervisory Committee, I will ensure that the Board of Directors is appropriately safeguarding assets and
that management complies with established practices and procedures to safeguard the members’ assets.

teams in mind, limiting deployments to 14 days and ensuring they had time at home. Bob uses these same
principals in looking out for the best interest and wellbeing of Frontwave members.
