From the desk of Principal “Those who try their best, taste victory!” Even the turbulence of this Pandemic could not stop our LMLites to reach new heights. Our students created history as they excelled in ISC (class XII) and ICSE (class X) results. City Topper Anjali Mehta secured 99.8% marks in ISC-2021 from Science stream. It was all possible because of her consistent hard work and perseverance. Nisarg Patel (Humanities) bagged 97.2% and was on cloud nine when the results were declared. Diva Lohiya (Commerce) secured 94.8% and won accolades. In ICSE (Class X) 2021, Prempratit Kothari stood first by securing 98.33%, Renee Shah and Kuljot Bakshi with 97.17% stood second and Prarthan Patel stood third with 96.83% marks. My sincere congratulation to all the students who brought laurels to the LML School with their outstanding performance!! The Management and the staff of LML School are overwhelmed with the stunning results of our students and wish them luck for their future endeavors. The year was full of changes and challenges. It was a year of digital revolution in Education. On one side, we saw students trying hard to cope up with the online classes and on the other side our educators rendering their selfless efforts to provide safe and effective digital platform to cater to the need of the students. Both readily accepted the challenge and emerged out to be successful in mastering the blended mode of teaching-learning transaction. We at LML School believe that with the tremendous power of our latent capabilities, we can win against all odds. That’s why we accept this ‘New Normal’ with optimism. Nothing can shake our confidence and faith if we are illuminated from within. With the same spirit and enthusiasm, we celebrated our 75th Independence Day on our campus. The exuberant students and educators of LML School organized a heart touching event to praise the glory of our Motherland. The entire event was full of vigor that replenished our enthusiasm. I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to my LML family for their tireless efforts and always leaving a legacy for others to emulate. At the end, I would like to conclude with the quote “ If you BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and have DEDICATION and PRIDE and never QUIT, you will be a WINNER. The price of VICTORY is high but so are the REWARDS. May God bless you all!! Ranjana Mandan Principal

Students of Classes XII and X did unprecedently well in their ISC and ICSE Examinations 2021. Presenting the stalwarts and their SUCCESS MANTRA. ANJALI MEHTA ( 99.8%) BELIEVES……. Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence. Success does not come easy. If life throws you a challenge, fight back hard. You might fail numerous times to achieve your ambition. But never let failure be an end as there is always light at the end of every tunnel. Self belief and determination will always earn you success. Don't wish for it, work for it. I believe that in life, you have to give things your best shot, do your best. Remember, big journeys always begin with the small steps! DIVA LOHIA (94.8%) BELIEVES……. Being consistent is the main key in order to achieve your desired goal. One needs to be consistent and have patience throughout their preparation with positive mindset without worrying about the result. Constant practice is all needed to succeed also one needs to stay calm during preparation and be persistent . Also, keep in constant touch with your mentors and teachers as they will guide you in correct direction. With all this kept in the mind you will come out with flying colours! NISARG PATEL (97.2%) BELIEVES……. Focus is the key to success. As long as you're focused, everything is possible. One needs to have a winner mindset, not arrogance, just self-confidence. A very important thing to note is that if you want to succeed, you must distance yourself from distractions like social media, games, etc. In case you want to relax, just take up a good book or talk to your family, teachers and friends, because they are as much a part of your success as you!
KULJOT SINGH BAKSHI (97.17%) BELIEVES……. First and foremost make a schedule a night before to start your day with. You have to step out of your comfort zone to perform at your utmost potential. Without stepping out of that box of yours, you won’t get to experience your limits. Prioritize things in a well-defined manner. You would have to leave certain things at some point of time for the things that matter the most at that time. Consistency and regularity play a key role in your preparation. Be ambitious and set your aspirations high. “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.” REENE SHAH (97.17%) BELIEVES……. What is "Success"? Success is the accomplishment of a goal or an aim. This is the definition that you can find in any book. To be honest, success is defined differently for each individual. It could be scoring 97% in 10th for one student, or passing for another. Thus it becomes extremely important not to compare the level of success you have achieved with others, but focus on doing your best. Success is not being as good as the best individual in a certain field, but being the best that you can be in that field. This is why my success mantra is to focus on myself, and not let others, or the expectations of others get to me. Small efforts must be put it in regularly, and giving up should never be an option. Following discipline and applying proper time management will not only lead you to the path of success, but will take you all the way across. Just make sure that YOU are happy in what you are doing and no one can stop you! Happy Conquering!!! PRARTHAN PATEL (96.83%) BELIEVES……. Consistency : one should always be regular in his or her work .Regularity helps in prevention of stress during time of exams. Self Discipline plays a major and vital role in academics when it comes to online studying. One must not be distracted and be attentive during lectures. According to me balance between hard work and smart work .

WHAT DOES FREEDOM MEAN TO A STUDENT? When we hear the word "Freedom" the first thing which comes to our mind are the historic tales of India's freedom journey, Maya Anglelou's famous poems and also American tales of freedom. Some people might also think about the freedom to travel anywhere in the world, financial freedom, freedom to hang out with friends and what not. Everyone has different perspectives of what freedom is. According to my view, freedom is the power to live as one wishes to. As a student, we must have the freedom to say what we feel and think, instead of what we "should" feel and think. It means we can express ourselves without any hesitation. It gives us right to raise our voice against any unfair practices which can happen anywhere and anytime. This also uplifts student’s self- confidence by letting them stand for 'themselves' against powerful people and their hurtful practices. We have heard one of the famous quotes of Mahatma Gandhi that says, "Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes." Thus, the freedom also means to take risks on our own behalf, instead of choosing to be only 'secure' so that we can learn from our mistakes. Freedom for us also includes the term "self -peace". By this, I mean internal freedom. You cannot separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom. We believe that there is freedom in self-compassion and self-acceptance too. To question what is right and what is wrong before blindly accepting anything is our freedom. We have the right to know about everything without being judged. Freedom is also the right of learning anything irrespective of his/her background. To sum up, Freedom has both bad and good effects. It completely depends on how he wants to use his freedom. Jolly Soni , XII

The celebration commenced by welcoming the Chief Guest Mr.Paresh R. Jani, Guest of Honour Ravajibhai Vasani, Honourable Lion Members and Judges with the traditional ‘Tilak’ and the guard of honour by the Headboy and Headgirl along with the school band. The flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem. The lighting of the lamp was followed by felicitating the guests at Kala Kendra. The speech in English by the Head Girl Jolly Soni spoke of the New India. In the words of Abdul Kalam “A developed India is a mission we all can take up and succed”. The speech in Hindi by the Head Boy Sparsh Sharma envisioned India standing tall as a global player. The Group Song followed in the sequence Jal, Agni, Prithvi and Vayu highlighting the ‘Unity in Diversity’ of India. The second attraction was the performances by the four houses. The performances recreated the freedom struggle of 1857 to attaining freedom in 1947. Special tribute to the Corona Warriors whether it be doctors, soldiers and sanitation workers was acknowledged in the performances. ‘Sewa Parmo Dharma’ was and will be the motto of all Indians. The speeches by the distinguished guests was motivating. The Chief Guest of the day focused on the,’ Girl Child’. The women of India are not only looking after the home and hearth but are also brining laurels to the country. The Tokyo Olympic is a witness to it. The Guest of Honour reminded us about the martyr’s who laid down their lives and gave a message that character determines our goal. Dr.Pallavi Seth inspired us with her couplet. She highlighted that India has a rich history and it was a fruitful year as India came out with a vaccine. This is a historic moment for us. India proved to the world that nothing can stop it from achieving its goal The curtain came down on the show with the Vote of Thanks by our Honourable Principal Ms Ranjana Mandan. The much awaited results of the music and dance competition was the finale.
The first position was won by Agni, second by Prithvi and the third by Jal in both the categories. This was for the first time that educators performed with the students.
